This reminds me of how many mods are now completely gone. While I'm very happy to see how many mod developers went on to do great things, it's disappointing to see how much of their work was tied to websites that are no longer around (many of which were Gamespy sites).

Mods are something I hadn’t even thought about. I’ve never been a modder, but I know the scene is huge for a lot of games, and those mods are often the best way to play certain games. Losing all of that effort and the unique way to play the game. That is pretty sad.
