Depends on what you do. I have a 16GB 4080 and VRChat will complete fill the VRAM in party worlds with like 30-60 people in custom avatars. People with less than 12GB lag almost instantly. Even a 4090 with 24GB can get overwhelmed. No matter what though I would never buy a card with less than 12GB rn.

I'm just getting into to PC gaming I got a great pre-built PC at microcenter. It has a ryzen 7950x3d cpu. Then a 7900xtx with 24gb of vram white tachi edition. I wanted to add an I so it says Itachi like in Naruto. But I also have 64 gb of ddr5 ram by a 2 32gb flair x5 . Is their any settings I should know. I know I need to prioritize using the 3d cache first because that part of the cpu has a higher clock speed.

Hi, If the VRAM is ECC for workstation graphics card, does the system RAM and the motherboard must be also ECC or it does not matter ?
@VelocityMicroPC11 ай бұрын
You can pair non ECC system RAM with ECC VRAM without issues.

You clip the mic a lot, try backing away from the mic or turn your mic down. Other things you may find helpful... try not to vary the distance from your mouth to the mic so much, especially if you insist on being that close to the thing. Also, your mic cover isn't able to deal with your "P's" and "B's" very well, if you don't want to get a better one, maybe try being more conscious of the direction of your voice, as in, don't angle your mouth directly at the mic. Honestly, the best/easiest thing you could probably do is to move the microphone, another 6 inches or so away from you, if you voice gets to quite, you could try turning up your mic at that point. But if that doesn't work, you'll seriously want to consider not bopping around so much. I mean, if you wanna spend money, you could get a good clip on mic, which in theory, should move with you so that your mouth to mic distance isn't constantly changing. If all of this is just too much for you to be concerned with, fixing it post production is probably your best bet. If you know anything about audio compression, that would likely be your most valuable asset, post production wise, but knowing your way around an EQ is up there too. If you don't know how to use that stuff and you don't want to learn, you could probably get away with running your recorded vocals through a pre-existing vocal processing chain. As far as I know, there are free options for audio processing on this level. Audacity, is a program you may already be familiar with. I hear fl studio is easy to get your hands on. You obviously have spent some effort on the production value of this video, so it's a shame to hear the poor audio quality. Production value wise, I'd say its the biggest thing holding you back. Improving your audio is a rabbit hole that goes deep, but really, the fix to this issue can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be. Really, if you just turned your mic down so that your not clipping, you could reduce the dynamic range of your voice with a compressor and then adjust your vocal volume (post production) up or down depending on how loud you want it to be. As a final note, consider listening to your audio on multiple sound systems and hear how it sounds coming from say, laptop speakers, earbuds, car stereo, monitor speakers if available. This comment is already too long and potentially confusing, depending on your experience with audio so I guess I'll leave it there.

My current build is pretty OP for my 2K-1080p needs. RTX 3070Ti 32GB DDR5 Ram AMD Ryzen 6900HX For people who're not willing to go full overkill with hardware, this is one of the most solid combinations you can go with for gaming/heavy tasks/editing etc.

Sir is 3060 12gb enough for video editing.. Also 12 gb 3060 or 8 Gb 4050
@VelocityMicroPC Жыл бұрын
Answer depends on the specific software you're using and the resolution you're editing at, but video editing is more heavily CPU involved than most people realize. Either GPU will be ok, but the RTX 3060 is the better option,

Thanks for the explanation. Whats 96 bit and 192 bit mean?
@VelocityMicroPC Жыл бұрын
That's referring to the memory bandwidth, essentially how many bits the bus can handle per memory cycle. A good analogy is lanes of a highway - just as more lanes handle more traffic more efficiently, so does higher bandwidth handle more data transfer more efficiently.

And mostly cards below 192 are bottlenecked by it

Should i get a 3060 ti with 8gb Or a 3060 but with 12gb
@VelocityMicroPC Жыл бұрын
Great question - We'd go for the Ti. Despite having less VRAM, the Ti has more CUDA cores and will give you better performance in games and renders, unless you're bottlenecked playing at 4k or working on something really big. YMMV though, make sure to research whatever games or programs you're running in respect to the card itself.

This is horrible advice. 8GB is NOT enough today. Period. Hogwart's Legacy is a good example, as are most VR games. I have a 3080 10GB and it was getting DESTROYED by modern games, mostly due to VRAM issues. The 3060 will be around running games long after the 8GB Ti is in the trash bin.@@VelocityMicroPC

48gb RTX Quadro for a workstation IF you have the money. Paired with a Threadripper CPU. For gaming 16gb should be the minimum for a 4k capable pc. 12gb for 1440p and 8gb for 1080p. Any thing below them would really struggle in today games.

@BrianTalmage-s3w7 ай бұрын
@TheMsr47gaming one thing that you have to be careful of is even though it is a 4070 laptop gpu on the smaller machines they under power the gpus to the point where a fully powered 4060 laptop gpu will actually preform better than the under powered 4070 they put in your laptop. Nothing like paying extra for the 4070 but ending up with less preformance than a 4060. That almost feels criminal with how expensive gaming laptops are these days!
