About the conversation Gojo was having with the Kyoto principal, Gojo has been in a years long struggle/fight with the higher ups because he doesn't like the way they do things and they don't want to change from their rigid, traditionalist ways. What he was getting at was that the power level of sorcerers was rising and he wouldn't be alone in his fight against them for much longer. In the episode where Yuji came back to life, Gojo actually mentioned a few of the students would grow to be on par with him power wise(which is INSANE when you think about it). The whole reason he became a teacher was so he could raise the next generation to be different than the old and inspire change in the system. He's telling the old man that he'd better watch out, basically.

Mahito's name is a hint in itself as to what kind of curse he is, that part doesnt hit for english speakers but in Japanese it has a meaning

You gonna love some of these characters no lie 😤 Edit: ☝️🤓 also want to put it out there, Gojo ripped Jogo's head, without using Cursed energy or Cursed technique, that's why he was alive after his head was ripped off, in other circumstances he would've died, because to exorcise a cursed spirit you either need to use brute force while being engulfed with cursed energy (like Itadori when he's punching) or use a cursed technique like Gojo when he used "Red"

In between seasons 1 and 2, there is a canon movie called Jujutsu Kaisen 0 that shows the events of the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons that keeps getting referenced. It takes place one year before Season 1.
