Blessed means, “Happy”. Being blessed is experiencing the true JOY of our Salvation through Christ and rejoicing in our forgiveness and subsequent Eternal Life! The evil pastors in this world teach that “blessings” are financial and material things - the prosperity gospel - but those things pass away and only bring temporary, circumstantial “feelings”. Real JOY of Salvation from being forgiven and in right relationship with Our Father through Christ is Eternal JOY of the Spirit and can’t be lost despite all of the difficulties and losses in life!

Like any word, the word 'Blessed' can have several meanings. In this case, it's basically like saying, 'happy' ... LIKE 'relieved' ... LIKE a 'weight' is off my shoulder WHEN my offenses and mistakes are forgiven. In fuller context, this is about how David AT FIRST, was silent ... vs 3 ... THEN He acknowledged his mistakes vs 5 and how he was 'unburdened' when the LORD forgave him. The difference between the 'he who is forgiven' and the MAN whom the Lord does not hold against ... whose spirit is NOT deceitful ... is more about [ intentions ] ... as in NO intentional deceit. ... sometimes we don't 'know' ... what we don't know and simply SAY or Do something that [ unintentionally] causes another to TAKE an offense. That #4 is LIKE the Lord saying, that NO OFFENSE was taken. In life ... sometimes it's simply MISUNDERSTANDING ... or a loss of translation ... aka, INNOCENT mistakes that accidentally ruffle feathers. So ... like, BLESSED is the one who needed forgiveness and was forgiven ... and BLESSED is the one who needed NO forgiveness. Be blessed.

I think what is being imparted here could be saying: Be transparent about your sinful nature, and thus confess your sins to God. Don’t try to trick others (or yourself) by pretending you’re not a sinner. Instead, open your eyes to the purpose of God’s mercies and to His forgiveness of those sins. For by refusing to conceal our sin - because that is simply futile - we acknowledge our fallen state. When we do that, God accepts our confession and reaches down to cover our sin Himself (by sending His Son to take our punishment for us). Rather than wallow in shame over our sin, we are able -in Grace- to move on and draw closer to Him. I believe what separates us from God is our stubborn and/or deceitful attempts to “cover up” our sins. We can never cover them up, but we DO need to have them “covered” by Jesus. That is a true blessing indeed.

Even though the last item on the list is different from the rest, I think it’s still related. Yea it describes a specific sin, deceit, those first three blessings seem to describe God bless the person by forgiving their sins. Those sentences don’t need to get specific because we’re talking about God forgiving the sin. But in the last sentence there it’s talking about the person, “in whose spirit there is no deceit.” It is a blessing to not have deceit in your spirit. I think what this passage is saying is that it’s both a blessing to be forgiven of your sin, and it’s a blessing to be close be so close to God that you are focused on being honest and not deceitful.

When someone sins on purpose they may sinning by using deceit, and not being convicted about how wrong that is because of their own jealous or haughty spirit and therefore would not even actually care if they were forgiven, it would not lead them to admit the truth but find excuses or blame in another direction. If someone sinned due to challenging circumstances or human error due to an emotion or perception or lack of understanding and they are brought to understanding and realized they’d done wrong but had no ill intent in it then they would confess and ask for forgiveness due to conviction of their wrongdoing. The third thing is that fear can often paralyze a person into not coming forward right away even if they have experienced some conviction. If approached they’d still break down humbled but sometimes need a push. It’s better to obey than to sacrifice and those moments often can bring individuals to sacrifice but they have true pain for their actions where someone with deceit in their heart probably doesn’t.

Re psalm 32:1&2 In whose spirit no deceit, ie no guile, takes me to John 1:47 re Nathaniel in whom no guile which leads me to Luke 18: 9-14 re 2 men praying, the 1st thankful for being better than others as a righteous person & the 2nd asking for mercy as a sinner. And that leads me to Jeremiah 17:9-10 & 18:5-10 reminders that deceitfulness is a matter of the ❤️ yet God is not the one fooled (which is illustrated in the anointing of David 1Samuel 16) as he treats us accordingly, whether with blessing or with consequences. Resulting clarification: deceitful hearts foremost deceive the heart-bearer him/her self, and anyone who is honest with her/ him self is indeed blessed since their prayers are not lies, they are welcome in his presence as truly covered by his blood and by his righteousness as well. He/ she actually receives the forgiveness hoped for & is relieved of guilt's strictures.

i think a person has to be honest with Jesus when we go to repent to be forgiven. To be an open book to Him...First Samuel i think where it says the heart of man is what is judged. I think that it ties to 1 peter 2:9, john 4:24, and many other scriptures. i think that all Father God wants is for us to be honest with him, and follow the commandments laid out by Jesus, Yeshua. I'm still learning though.

I would see the deceit in this scripture as God changing your heart towards honesty & not hiding truth. I remember when Jesus speaking of Nathaniel in John 1:47 that… this is a Israelite which had no deceit. & right before that scripture in verse 46, Nathaniel just had said what he thought(can anything good come out of Nazareth?) he wasn’t hiding the truth or speaking a lie to what he thought towards the situation….?

The more you read and meditate on it(the kjv) I assure you that it'll get easier to read, don't trust these modern corrupt versions. I was more or less thinking that humans sin because they are decieved in some sense - they don't see the evil of the sin, ie in darkness not knowing where they are going. Jesus is the light, truth, therefore in some sense shining light on our darkness - the sin, therefore removing the deceit of sin - causing less sin. If someone always had the light and truth of Christ at the forefront of their mind, would not they no longer have deceit in there spirit, therefore, not sin, have iniquity - and already be forgiven for one, which is how one becomes sanctified, etc, and not having sin - therefore forgiveness dones't enter in the equation. Alas, just ideas. We should definentely forgive always all people, that isn't the only sin we still have though, for even saved people sin in other ways no? To be blessed is to have the help of Jesus in overcoming sin. To explain what a devil or demon is, it’s not a physical entity, those are the symbolic words used to describe the spirit of the attitudes that you possess in YOUR mind, in your thinking process, which leads all humans to poor and evil choices. If someone hits you in the face - do you first assess whether you can hands up and step back or do you go straight in with a punch back? Well that’s a tricky one because depending on the situation you might make different choices. If the person is drunk, you could just calm them and step away, but if a demonic thought is within you it will make your thought into action and you’ll set upon that person regardless of their state. In the story of Adam and Eve, God told them not to eat from the fruit in the midst of the garden but Eve’s inner demons (figuratively a serpent) plagued her mind and told her that was ridiculous she wouldn’t die, God didn’t want her eating this fruit because in eating it she would become as wise and powerful as He was. Wrong thoughts! The fruit in the midst of the garden was actually living animals and she wasn’t to eat from them, but her serpent-like or demon thoughts led her on to kill a swine and eat from it (Isaiah 66:17) and guess what? She didn’t immediately die, so she persuaded Adam that God had indeed lied and that they should both eat it so they would become as powerful as God (more serpent thoughts). Adam ignored God’s directive because, look, Eve already did it and she didn’t die! These are all devil thoughts that begin in the mind. Eve herself was the serpent, it was her thoughts that led her astray when she should have pushed those sinful thoughts aside and obeyed God. That was Adam and Eve’s sin and we are all made the same. We are to learn to overcome those thoughts which are our enemy or devil or demon or serpent and become better! If you try to do that and try to live up to the teachings of Jesus, he will see you and notice you and he will bestow upon you his blessing - the Holy Spirit - to help you overcome your devils and demons. The Holy Spirit will help you to stand back from a fight if you could otherwise just walk away without letting your rage overcome you. That is the blessing of Jesus. If he has bestowed the Holy Spirit within you, then you are Blessed. The only enemy or devil or lucifer or satan or demon is YOU and your sinful behaviours. If you want to know why Adam and Eve didn’t die, it was because God meant that he would not resurrect them if they acted upon sin. So when old age came and they died they had already condemned themselves to stay dead in their graves forever, Jesus will not be allowed to raise them to eternal life, they are dead just as God said. Read the Bible, understand the Bible, follow Jesus and be raised after death to live again like he was. That is being blessed when all the rest are cursed to die once and forever. And we are to pray His will into Existence, to allow Yah to operate on Earth. Almighty Father Yah can do NOTHING without permission of a human, first. There is less than a Millennium until Judgment Day, when Satan is released from his 1000 year sentence and 'he must be let loose for a little while' [Revelation 20:1-3], when there needs to be at least ONE believer of Yah, who is in right standing with Him, who could then call on Yahooshua to return to Earth, declare Yah the winner, gather the sheep (believers of Yah), and to lead them to the Gates of Heaven. If there is NOT 1 human who could call on Yahooshua, then Yah will immediately remove His Spirit from earth, ending all plant, animal, and human life, leaving Lucifer with his followers and all the deceived [immobile] spirits, stuck on a lifeless/desolate planet, for Eternity. Unbelief of our Eternally Self-Existing Creator is the ultimate sin, and this is the goal of His fallen Messenger, to prove mankind to be a failed experiment that could be totally corrupted and led astray from acknowledging the Existence of our Heavenly Father/the Almighty Creator, during a 7000-year experiment (from Creation of Adam), of which mankind/earth are in the final stage. Adam was given all authority on earth (by the Almighty), but Adam listened/submitted to Satan's voice and was tricked into eating the Forbidden Fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, which Father Yah Commanded Adam NOT to eat from. Thus, Adam submitted to Satan and all authority/power on earth went to Satan in the spirit realm, and humans are consequently born as servants of Satan until coming to deep assurance that the Almighty [our Creator] Exists, OR if a believing man has any children, then they are automatically believers until puberty, then they may continue in belief or fall away. Dying in allegiance to Satan (unbeliever of Almighty's Existence) results in being denied Day of Judgment and being sent back to one's corpse (disembodied/immobile), where many of these disembodied ancestor spirits are further used by the Satanic Messengers, to be put on a human, whenever a human breaks any of the Ten Commandments. They are commanded to further keep the human in sin, whenever opportunity arises and to prevent people believing in the Almighty. Being 'under the influence' of alcohol/mind altering drug(s) is being in an altered state-of-mind to allow one's demons to have more control over the mind, to draw the human in further sin; fornication/adultery, joking/lying, swearing/cursing, stealing, lusting, etc. etc. AND to provide the 'Peace of Satan' (that a human is NOT attempting to come to belief of Yah's Existence, which brings peace to one's demons), so it is literally being 'under the influence' by one's demons. In May 2003, Lucifer/Satan was sentenced/cast into the Pit for 1000 years by one man (done undercover), who Father Yah called since 1993, to train, become free of sin, and bring the charges against Satan. In order for this to occur, all Grace was fully withdrawn by Father Yah, for people breaking Commandment 1 and 2, including any false worship of a human, a Book, idols/graven images, and also using blasphemous Pagan terms {God/theLORD, also 'Jesus'} which it was ONLY by Yah's Grace/Mercy that he accepted/answered prayers, until May 2003, because so few people had access to the truths, in this world that is spiritually ruled by the father of lies, who has deceived billions of spirits from their Day of Judgment, for failure to come to belief of the Almighty's Existence. Unbelief is the ultimate sin.
