Ever wished you could just splash someone with water, but not have to face any of the consequences? If so, the Water Splashing Festival is FOR YOU!!! It's the New Year Celebration of the Dai Ethnic minority, and it was seriously one of the coolest things I've ever seen and been a part of.

This is really nice. It reminds me of a festival we celebrate here in India, Holi which is technically the festival of colours and we play with dry colours on that festival. But over the years, it has started including coloured water splashing as well. So, everyone just puts colour or water on everyone, dances around and has a great time. You should check that out as well whenever you come to India. ❤️

I think the climate will be a bit hotter there? Myanmar is situated in low level from sea and it is very hot even during winter. I've no idea about China side border but in India side border it's very hot. I went there once and I love their food and hospitality of the locals. Even wines were sold like other stuff in open market and were cheap but I'm not sure how safe they were. Shops were not open 24hrs but in late night like 3am we can walk down the street and just wake up the restaurant owners to serve food. They'd do it without any hesitant. I don't like the climate much but I like the culture and the people.

Same for other borders that China share with other neighbouring countries, except Indians which isn't an ethnic group in China but there are ethnic Russians, Tajiks, Koreans, Krygz, Uzbeks etc on China side along those shared borders .
