My father was in the Navy and stationed in San Francisco 2 times, once in WWII, once in Korea. He loved SF so much he planned to move there or on the peninsula after he got out of service in 1954. Family circumstances and work prevented that from happening. He was administrator of VA hospital in our city 1959-1984 and told me many times how wonderful SF was and wanted to take me there. He never got to go back because of job responsibilities and told me to make sure to go and see it. He died in 1986. I never got to go out to CA and see SF. Last time I heard from friends that formerly lived there or visited what it was like now, I know now I never want to go. From what I have heard about what it is like now, I am very glad my dad is not around to witness the demise of what once was the wonderful town and memories of it my dad shared with me.

Last time I checked I believe it was about 30% Republican, 30% Democrat, and 40% Independents. Although it is difficult to trust any polls or statistics. Like FDR said, "Presidents are selected, not elected". People still havent figured out that every single President is repated to one another. @keiganblaise98783 жыл бұрын
@@wiktorwektor123 Stop being an idiot. The whole government is corrupt. It is a _bipartisan_ system. How the _fuck_ do you not understand how bad that is? It's sad that it took over 200 years for Americans to finally start waking up and seeing that. We need a multipartisan system. Period. That "swamp" that we Americans speak of? Yeah, it isn't just the D-Party. It's _all_ of'em. And it's one _big_ fucking swamp. Democrats. Republicans. It doesn't matter. The _vast_ majority of our local and national leaders are corrupt, one way or another. Some of them, to the very core. From Trump, Biden, Obama, McConnell, Pelosi, Warren, and Harris, to Kavanaugh, Cruz, the Clintons, and many, _many_ more, there are increasingly fewer and fewer actual _good_ people entering the American political atmosphere, and even _fewer_ leaving it as the same people they entered as. Chances are, no matter _how_ good you are, if you enter American politics (or Earth politics rather, because it really doesn't matter _where_ the fuck you live), you are not going to be the same person down the line. Very few are able to fight back against the systemic corruption and greed. And the careers of those who try usually don't last long. Fight back too hard, and _you_ might not last long, depending on where you live and what your political views are compared to the rest of your party's. As for those of you saying we'll never know the names of the "true puppet masters" (ugh, that makes me cringe), you are also being idiots. The answer is right in front of us, and it has been for years, since the Robber Barons and before. We already _know_ the people responsible for our plights. And those people exist in literally _every_ industry across the free market. They are the CEOs and chairmen. They are the investors and shareholders. They are the rich and the powerful, who are dubbed "elite", and who send in lobbyists by the dozens, day in and day out, to get their way with policies and regulations that _should_ be protecting us, not killing us slowly and painfully. These are people like Patricia E. Vance and Strauss Zelnick, Bobby Kotick, and Andrew Wilson. These are people like Alex Gorsky and Ian C. Read. These are people like Tim Cook and Jeff Bezos and Dion Weisler. I name these people _not_ because they are rich and powerful though. I name these people because the practices their businesses use to _conduct_ business on this planet are actively, _physically_ destroying the world, and mentally torturing _millions_ of people worldwide, each and every day. These people aren't necessarily "evil", but they are not deserving of the positions they are in, and do not deserve to run _any_ sort of business after the _shit_ that these businesses and entire industries have been causing for decades. It is time that Americans, and more importantly, _people,_ start opening their damn eyes and seeing the Bigger Picture. It is time that we start fighting back against not only our governments, but the private businesses that have them in their back pockets. I am not against capitalism, just like I am not against socialism. I am against the _extremes_ of these systems, and right now, America, we are seeing _extreme_ capitalism at its fucking finest. It is destroying us. It is destroying everything. We need to grow the fuck up, stop dividing ourselves, and start being aware that there _is_ such thing as a common enemy. And I just told you who that enemy is. Do your own research if you need more to go off of. I advise you do. Edit: It shouldn't take a _kid_ to tell his people this.
