Great review. I own a 2024 with a manual and absolutely love it. I agree with everything you said in your review including the very few and minor drawbacks. One point of clarification on the Super Cruise: as long as the cameras can see your eyes and you’re looking straight ahead, you never need to touch the steering wheel. My wife’s XT6 has it so that’s how I know. Also the Super Cruise is newly available on the 2024 models, and only automatics. Not on the manuals. Still worth the give up for the manual though.

Agreed. I found out that you can’t get super cruise or an auto start with a manual, and it was almost a dealbreaker. I’m so glad I decided to stick with the manual. It’s worth the trade-off.

I bought one...absolutely amazing. I'm considering buying another to put in bubble wrap. Handles better than my old M4, 3 to 4 sec runs to 60 and 1/4 in 11s...just FINE! the sound and ability to play with this ZL1 chassis and SCLT4 is nothign short of pinnacle. Fun factor 10/10. with 4 doors hahhahahha PS. This is NOT a 0 to 60 car...it cant compete with AWD and EV...but what it can do it make you laugh with joy and have more fun in any car youve ever driven...with friends!! BUY ONE...this IS a car that will hold value that is not an///M and AMG or a GT car.

I am 60 years old and when I buy my V8 6-speed, it will be for life, so I want to make SURE it is what I want. Yes exactly the same. Pretty much everything is the same but updated dash, a little different look on the front and 2 new paint options basically.

Never understood paddle shifters in an automatic 🤦🏻‍♀️ Have them in my Premium ATS and have never used them, not sure why he’s even using them or complaining about shifting in an Automatic.

Easier to text and drive in an M5 Competition..... and you can drift or do burnouts in rwd when you want, and 4wd when you want to launch. Only thing you dont get is a manual, but the paddle shifters work great.

Did not watch it, but... You have the wrong transmission in it. Honestly I agree the supercharged V8 is probably more joyfull, but it's also probably inferior, but... You an get it with a manual. And a good manual at that. Otherwise, the vehicle is perfectly priced cheaper... because it is cheap.
