Two adventurous, hard working lovers. Scenes of the two of you in SIcily are wonderful. Life is such a brief adventure, every moment is beyond precious. Reliving such moments through the two of you is a delight.

Be very careful in the straights as there are insane tides and whirlpools also lots of cross traffic. So pic your tide and be ready to motor.

Hi Guys, Thanks for another enchanting video. Here is some information about the Swordfish boats; the captain can control the boat from the mast top (I believe it is done using a joystick) where he can see the Swordfish at a distance. The Swordfish is caught while sleeping on the surface. By using such an extensive bow sprit the crew using the gaff to spear the Swordfish can get above it without disturbing it’s sleep. If the Swordfish does awaken, then it is fun to watch the pursuit. The fixtures at the stern are added to the hull in order to keep the stern from sinking lower when power is applied and thus keeping the waterline length as long as possible in order to achieve the maximum speed possible. You will see this a many traditional Wooden Greek boats also. You were lucky to see a Swordfish boat underway as they will only go out in flat conditions. Many thanks again for your wonderful presentation. Take care. Niall

Lovely video. It made me want to get to Sicily in the near future. But I won’t have the freedom to wander from place to place that your sailing boat gives you.

I am no boat builder but looking at the construction it appears to me that the long bowsprit makes the guy wires that steady the very tall spotting platform possible. The skirt around the boat would seem to me to heighten stability for the platform as well.

It’s episodes like this that make you feel that you’ve escaped somewhere exotic for a vacation - even though it is snowing outside and dark. Would like to see more of the on land exploring. Streets, food, store fronts, even decorated doors and terrasses.

Aha! Now I get it! Explanation for earlier question about mic inside violin - it wasn't any mic I saw Aladino fiddling with in a superquick clip, it was LED-lights put into another violin body! Bright idea 💡

@2:22 Maya, I watched your last video on how to start a sailing channel and I thought so at the time but I didn't feel compelled to comment until now. You talked about a lot of technical things ect. that I need to start a sailing channel, and it reminded me of an old Blue Oyster Cult song, Maserati GTI. I got a sailing boat. And I sail it around. I got a bunch of stuff! But I ain't got you. By the way...I can't sail shit, but I love watching you and Dino!
