you are an inspiration to me mate, I have suffered mental illness my whole life and just lately it has been winning but what you said after your fight got me up and started training again, I use to box which helped me no end so I have started training again, I am 54 so I won't be fighting but the training has improved my mood loads and stopped all the suicidal thoughts so thanks Paddy mate and happy birthday to your mum.

all the best to you. i'm also 54 and i find that throwing myself into my cardio and resistance work (running, ring dips, yoga, light weights, gym etc.), as well as educating myself on nutrition and (importantly) eliminating any cravings and addictions, is vital for keeping you in a good place. do it for the discipline, brother. 💪

Thanks for sharing mate, I'm 41 disabled so cant do much training but I've got bands and working with a physio. Like you ive had it all my life but the past few years it's been kicking my ass, but I'm trying and not giving up. God bless mate

@@dankvader5060 and you brother, I really feel for you, I was in a serious car accident in 2018 and I crushed both my knees and left foot, I also broke my back in 3 places so I am quite limited as to what I can do although I can do some limited weight training and I can also work on my heavy bag as long as I'm careful not to fall. I'm sorry you are in the position you are in , I genuinely feel for you even though I am a bit more mobile I can relate to some degree. We just have to keep going in any way we can. Keep your chin up my friend, I'm always here if you or anyone needs to talk . Keep on keeping on. All the best mate 👍.

I'm glad paddy hasn't ballooned so bad this time. I've watched him since he was a kid (FCC days) and I want him to do well. He's obviously tremendously talented and his career is going great. Despite that, you cannot deny that every hour of a fight camp spent on cardio, just trying to shed weight, is an hour you could have spent learning new skills and improving the ones he has. Want the see him be champ one day.

@crystal mate i hear you i lost my paps at 14 as he committed suicide in a nearby park we had to grow up around there after and them my mom passed at 28 through alcohol , life before that wasn't great either as he was a paranoid schizo, used to batter us all even my ma, I've contemplated many many of times but hey ho you have to keep on going don't ya (sort of ), I've opened up to alot of ppl had help left right and centre nearly got sectioned the lot , best advice i can give is DO NOT SIT AND SUFFER IN SILENCE, but i would also add make sure you 100 percent trust the people you open up to , and also what i found that helped was now that I've wore the tshirt and been through shit , i found it really therapeutic to find and help others who are suffering , each to there own therapy but stay up and focused brothers you ain't alone ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ #mentalhealthawareness #dontsufferinsilence #yoiractionstodaywilldefineabettertomorrow
