Rally lessons aren't really needed, as long as you don't mind finding things about by yourself. Also, if you can find a rally oriented car club to join, there will no doubt be people only too happy to help you out. Cars can get very expensive, but if you can find an older one, with all the basics already in, it shouldn't be too bad. Don't try and build your own if you want to keep costs down, I can tell you that it will always end up more expensive. And, if you are keen, co-drivers are usually in demand, so that could be a good entry point.

I'd do good at that. Got 4 world fastest time trial sets in 3 racing sims/games. Some runs have taken over 150 tries just to get in Project Cars. I drive as fast as the car drives whenever I can.

@@dnbenr3090 You also have a more dynamic control system IRL. Cars have a full steering wheel, 3 pedals and a gearshift. Sims only have 2 toggles and some buttons. Simming is hard stuff.
