I usually dont listen to shit you say in your videos cause im just using ur yapping as background noise while cleaning, cooking etc. but this video really helped me! I thought now that I hit ascendant I can stop aim training until like immortal because my aim is good enough, infact it wasnt! Hello Zapper, this is my first comment here and to begin really great video! If I can add something changing sens is really a good thing for training, you are right because that do helps develop the differents muscles engaged in the aiming process. The only thing is that doubling the sens might be a little bit to much, something like 20% more and 20% less should theorically be more optimal for training. For info you can check MiniGod who's the aim coach of a lot of pro players, he discussed that specific point and that's really intressting! Anyway good content, and sorry if my english is not clear that's not my main language!

If you have a DPI button on your mouse, you can just go into your mouse settings and create a preset that has 2 DPIs. One with your normal DPI and the second with double your normal DPI. This way instead of changing your sens in Kovaaks you can just click the button.

Dude! Zapper! Allow me to change your mind. Range > AimLabs/Kovaks. Movement + Aim go hand in hand. You don't get the same physics as you do in-game. I noticed IMMENSE improvement with my aim as soon as I switched to in-game only. (Range or DM). In the range, I make sure the bots are on strafe and I only shoot when they've come to a stop or when I can predict a stop. You can also practice Jett knives and other vertical flicks. Also using different guns to learn how they behave (pull out time, spray resets). AND, spray transfers or burst strafing etc. Point is - the synergy between your right hand and your left hand can only be worked on in-game. The physics of the game is a HUGE part of aim. Bro I promise! It worked for me at least. My peak HS in ranked is 43%. My DM lobbies have radiants and immortal 3's and average around Ascendant 1. I wish I could share screenshots but... anyways, I only stay in-game these days for my entire training process. THANK YOU FOR THESE VIDEOS!

Do you have a routine in range? I used to do the woohojin method
@RayVillaraza
@RayVillaraza 3 ай бұрын
@@slayve7394 My range routine includes the Woohoojin Method, but tbh his method is only half (one direction i.e. over flick, then strafe to bring the crosshair to the head). The other half is under flick, then strafe the crosshair to the head. It's a small distinction but it accommodates different scenarios. I also keep the bots on strafe since it trains your eyes/hands to track and attempt another flick when the enemy moves. I know the bots aren't moving realistically since they're holding pistols but it does make for hitting riflers easier. The routine is done AFTER ranked play/before bed time. Do not do this before ranked. If you want to warm-up before ranked, just do 2 - 3 DMs. The routine is also done SLOWLY and SMOOTHLY. Perfect > Speed. Here's the routine. 5-min of 1-taps (right in front of the control panel) 5-min of 1-taps (backed up against the brick wall, max distance away from the control panel) 5-min of 1-taps (inside the ring with the bots, control panel behind you) 5-min of spray control (backed up against the brick wall, max distance away from the control panel - VERY HARD. You can make it easier by getting closer to the wall, but no more than the control panel) 5-min of spray transfer (this is the only time I turn off strafe on the bots, the bots should be standing still) 5-min of op / marshall (back wall again, unzoomed while strafing, then zooming in to flick / tap). Optional, but after firing, switch to knife and bunny hop out. The timing for this is crucial. it'll help you get away from bad situations. Finally, 25 jump spots (left view) and 25 jump spots (right view). Start over if you mess up the jump spot. You must get all 25 each without error. IF I have time, then I do the 30 bots on Medium or Hard, but this is really only for benchmarking my progress.

these "coaches" who say shit like "aim means nothing" are the definition of pure arrogance when they know there are guys who aim train consistently AND won international trophies. it's like they think they know better when they havent even touched tier 1 val. dopai's the only coach i listen to coz he has actually reached rank 1 radiant. he values every aspect of ranked gameplay and his take on aim training actually makes sense (he basically says it is necessary for both beginners and for those who want to reach the peak of ranked).

I’ll be totally honest with you bro, after 2 days I stopped. not cause the routine isn’t generally good but cause I found one that is much more intensive and also without the sensitivity changing part. Also what helped me really improve was working on my movement and watch a lot of Charlatan. In every DM u play think about ur movement and rather work on that then just pure aim. Use a routine that warms u up and pure aim comes with time when doing the warmup consistently. If you really want to grind, play an other routine for after playing comp. But let’s be honest here. Nothing worse then loosing 5 matches in a row and then having to do aim training…

I've been grinding voltaic benchmarks, I've hit master and I continuously improve, I've had my friend oversee my technique to make sure i'm not doing it wrong, but for some reason I feel like the better I get at kovaaks the worse I get at val, like I'll start whiffing on a guy not even facing me, do you have any advice for me? I genuinely don't know what's wrong with me anymore, I whiff so many free shots that its not even funny. I feel like learning the proper technique for flicking in kovaaks made me hesitate too much in actual matches, I can't translate my skills at all. I get shit on in literal gold somehow and i've been consistently peaking ascendant, it feels to me like hitting my shots is rng at this point, I genuinely don't know what to do anymore. I can't properly time my shots while holding angles, I can't properly bring my crosshair over peoples heads, my hs% is 40-50% but I literally just can't hit, its either headshot or nothing for me, and its more often nothing. I will literally get into strafe battles with people and strafe 5 separate times whiffing every single bullet until they manage to shoot the last bodyshot on me I'm desperate at this point, I aim train everyday, sure I find kovaaks and aimlabs fun and all and I don't regret my time spent there, but it's showing no help on my valorant aim at all and I don't know why.
@louisvo3802
@louisvo3802 4 ай бұрын
dawg drop kovaks and pick up more dm and tdm bc you know for a fact its not your aim but your gunfights, even if your not sure what your doing wrong all you gotta do is more reps until you get it right. also your gamesense is prob shit. As a scaled down example I used to grind aim labs everyday (not at your lvl) for at least 20 minutes before each session and was hard stuck plat 1 for a couple of acts then for like a week straight I just dropped aim labs and started locking in for my games and queued like close to 8 games a day and hit dia 2 that same week. What happened was that I realized my gamesense was extremely lacking and so was my mental (zapper talks abt this a little). There is a million videos on ranking up bc there's a million ways to play the game so maybe playing kovax everyday might not be your way of ranking up.

@@louisvo3802 I do plenty of dms, at least 5 a day, and no it's pretty much my aim I lose to golds in dms, my crosshair placement is always head level but I just can't hit the horizontal motion, I end up in strafe battles where I whiff head for multiple shots until I get sprayed down, literally yesterday I was trying to shoot a reyna on icebox flanking b when I lurked a and I whiffed literally 5 bullets until he turned around and then I finally hit one but almost threw it. I just have some weird mindlock that doesn't let me aim the same way I do in aim trainers when i play this game
