Hi to all my new friends that I've made through a mutual love for this great human who I strongly believe is a gift direct from Heaven to the world. He has been through so much and could have easily given up. My passion is John Farnham's music and following and listening to him every day. For those who don't know I'm doing a history series on John Farnham and Part 26 is now recorded and that's only up to 2003. I will never get tired of listening to any of his songs. I will listen to this inspirational, humble, funny, genuine, multi-talented man until the day I die and he will be the only voice singing at my funeral (plus Lindsay, Vanetta & Lisa of course 😂). I love you John Farnham and I love all of new friends including you, Ted, and the other reactors who have become our friends through their love of our Farnsey. Finally, I lost my oldest son in 2002, violently and his favourite Farnsey song is Two Strong Hearts and hearing that song brings me so many good memories of very happy times singing and dancing to Johns music with my kids and my Mum ❤😂🎉 His legacy is generational and will go on for many, many years and we can only hope we can just see him live again, whether it's talking or singing - so we can see those beautiful eyes and smiles and hear that voice and laughter. ❤ Keep it up Ted - you're doing a fantastic job and you are definitely a part of our Farnsey family ❤😊🎉

John Farnham is so talented! No matter what genre he chooses to sing he nails it! I love his music and I love how he gives it his all in his performances. He’s naturally funny as he chats and engages with his audience, he made me feel like I deserved to hear his best at his concerts. It doesn’t take long to see he’s such a genuine person. I’ve been to a few of his concerts over the years and I always came out of the venue on a real musical high. We’d continue singing his songs as we drove the hour and half trip home. The Voice, our John, is so loved by us Aussies. Thank you for the music John, you’ll always be a part of my life through your music and that amazing voice you were blessed with. ❤ Thank you Ted for listening to, appreciating, and sharing John Farnham’s music.

John's impact on my own life has been huge in a lot of different yet beautiful ways. I come from a musical family..Irish decent and I was born here in Australia. Growing up with music always around me was wonderful from big bands to the latest hits..But My Dad taught me to sit and really listen to great singers like Gene Pitney Roy Orbison etc and then John Farnham who he said had one of the purest voices he had ever heard and the story began. He can sing the phone book and make it awesome..a range unheard of power to burn and yet a softness as well and the best part of all he is such a humble beautiful man who all in Australia love dearly and the world finally has seen that as well with channels like your showcasing him to so many more new fans of this amazing man. Keep Safe Keep Strong 🦘🦘🦘🦘❤❤❤❤🎅🤶🎄🎄🎄🎄

I like other music but usually have more of John’s playing plus as a person,he’s never changed. He’s a down to earth person, gives his all at his concerts, and could have easily thought he was better than anyone but he didn’t! He might not ever sing again but I think I’m lucky to have heard him from the beginning.

It’s not only John’s fantastic voice but his interviews, he’s so down to earth, naturally funny, relaxed and honest. You’ll see the man behind the voice just chatting away, laughing, having fun on KZbin vids. If John passed me in the street and I said hello, he’d smile and say hi back, he’d probably even stop for a chat. I’ve seen videos of him relaxed and chatting away to fans as if he knew them, not forced or fake. That’s the real John we all love respect and admire 😊

John, I felt an instant connection with you way back when I was just 14, and I heard you sing 'Sadie'. I've loved your golden voice and your beautiful, caring personality since then. I'm now 71, and I still listen to your music every day of my life. I've been to all of your concerts, some several times over. Without knowing it, you've helped me so much throughout these years. When I'm happy, I love to celebrate by listening to your amazing voice. When I'm sad or upset, I take comfort from your soothing voice. Not only do you have the best voice I've ever heard, but you are the best entertainer ever. Through your interviews I know that you're not only funny and sweet, but humble, and you really do care deeply about humanity. You, to me, are the very best of the very best. A bona fide goat!! Thank you for giving us all the gift of yourself and your unparalleled voice. You are a legend. Thank you, John. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

I have often thought about what I would say if I ever met you, John. I am sure I would be speechless 😅 But, if I could muster up the courage to speak, I would simply say 'thank you'. Thank you for your amazing voice, the songs, your compassion, your ability to move people and also make them feel special as if they are the most important person in the world, your ability to stay humble through it all, but most of all, thank you for showing me what it is like when you find your passion, live it, and never give up on it - you have given me something to look up to, strive to, and in the many many times recently that I have needed to be lifted up, you have been there to fill my life with joy and remind me of the good. Thank you Mr John Farnham - you are a living legend in many more ways than one. You have given your gift to us and I am forever grateful 😍💗💗 Be well and keep being that incredible person you are, and always have been 🥰🤗💞💞

This is wierd but here goes. And thanks Ted for giving us an opportunity to express how we all feel about our John. John you have had the uncanny ability to create community. Right from the beginning you drew us all in with your boy next door charm and your wonderful voice. Then from the 80's, when you finally started to have your own say in what you recorded, we knew that you were not only an amazing singer but truly once in a lifetime bonifide legend. From the lyrics of the songs that you sing, to the powerful and emotional way that you sing to how you involve your audiences and make us all feel like you were singing to each one of us individually. I have been totally in awe of how much you have done over the years for our Aussie community through charity concerts and fundraisers. You have earned your many awards especially Aussie of the year and the OA I've always been a fan right back from the Sadie days when i was just a little kid. But what i remember from even those very early days is that the fans were united our love. A passion that remains to this day. I still have freinds that I met back then, when we all had Johnny Farnham posters on our walls.. And since covid, the fans have come back out in force. I have made so many more new freinds through watching people like Ted react to your music. So thankyou John for all the wonderful years of music, and all the Farnsey Army of fans who have reminded me how many people are just like me and crazy about all things Farnsey 😜 😀 and to people like Ted who are just discovering John and loving every minute of the journey. Its kinda like discovering John all over again through someone else's eyes. Also makes me misty eyed and very proud that even today people are still discovering John for the first time and becoming fans. I bet that blows your socks off and makes you misty eyed to Mr Farnham😂😊 And finally if you want to learn how to have tenacity, q fighting spirit and the ability to get back up again after life knocks you over, just take a leaf out of John's book. ❤❤ Keep healing John❤❤

What does John mean to me, or anyone that has heard his incredible music? That’s easy, he is everything that is good in the world, he brings people together, in brotherhood and love for one another and the love of real music. John’s music speaks to us in ways that you wouldn’t believe possible, it fills my heart with joy and to watch and listen to him is majestic as I marvel at this great man and what he has accomplished over a very long career in the cut throat music industry. Throughout the years John’s music has stood the test of time and moved with the times and brought so much happiness to me and to so many others, his passion for music is heard in his voice and seen on his face while performing, he puts everything into every performance to make it the best possible for his fans to enjoy but he just loves to do it, to be there on that stage is not just a job, he has so much fun and thoroughly enjoys bringing people together with the joy of music. John was born to shine, the brightest star in the night sky is John and his voice resonates with so much emotion and passion, so much feeling it gives you goosebumps and sends shivers down your spine. I truly believe he is the greatest and most versatile male vocalist of all time who has sung in most genres and sings with such rare clarity and perfect diction, you hear every word he sings, his seemingly endless vocal range, his performance style, mic technique, stage presence, breath technique, just everything is spot on and most of all his music is so meaningful, he sings about life, about love and love for one another, many songs with positive messages of hope, love, peace that brings us together as one. John Farnham was great from the start, ahead of his time with music that is still capturing new fans even now 50 years later, when someone hears John for the first time, they are amazed and hooked for life. A great man with incredible talent, an amazing and proud Australian with such a big heart, a gift to us all.

Beautiful Debb, I’m so sorry to hear about your son and what a beautiful song for his favorite. I lost my little brother in 1992@ his age of just 21 and “you’ll never walk alone” we played at his funeral and John’s version of that, especially the one at the Melbourne carols I play ever Christmas for him and is my favorite version ever. Your history piece on John is very intriguing and mammoth effort and you’re up to 2003, and have such a long way to go but so much to look forward to in the process. Well done.
