All Dimash's music is cross-cultural. I love all his music and a lot of it is not in English. He is in my mind the greatest vocalist alive. You can pick any song he has done or any video he has done and it will be good. His fan base (Dears as Dimash calls us) is transcontinental and knows no boundaries. East meets West meets East without a problem. As a matter of fact I listen to mostly Eastern music now because of Dimash. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin), plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He was 22 in this performance and is 28 now (only gotten better). He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. I really enjoyed your reaction. You obviously have a lot of musical knowledge and are able to feel what the music conveys. Dimash does indeed like to do things to the best of his ability and his videos are masterpieces. In concert he is much more relaxed. He says he feels at home on stage and that it's the one place where he doesn't worry about things. He just enjoys singing to and with his Dears (he calls his fans Dears because he says they are very dear to him.) And he especially enjoys hearing his fans sing to him! You should see his smile when they try to sing his songs, especially when they do their best to sing in Kazakh! I really liked what you said about a person doing what they were created to do. And guess what Dimash's last name means? Given by God. Very fitting, don't you think? Dimash says he has never wanted to do anything other than sing from the time he was about 2 years old. (Apparently he used to take all the cassette tapes in his house to bed with him when he was little!) It was neat that you picked up a cross-cultural vibe there too. Dimash loves to use his music to help people to connect to each other without borders of race, nationality, religion etc. His lyrics often have deep meanings so they are generally worth seeing even if you have to watch the video twice, once without them in order to soak up the music and then again to see the message. When Dimash was 5 years old his parents discovered they could sing a note, within his childish vocal range his return was perfect - a musical match. Both of his parents were involved in the music industry his mother a celebrated singer, and his father a singer / producer. They immediately enrolled Dimash in a musical school run by the local university (in Kazakhstan) his language is Russian. His education from that time on involved music. His collage degree is in classical music his masters’ degree is in contemporary music. He is seeking is Doctorate in composition and arrangement of music. He currently practices voice and singing 3 hours per day. Wikipedia has much of this information and things like he sings in 14 languages - Sings, not speaks, plays multiple instruments. As a collage graduate, he was offered a position, local orchestra, as their pianist - he declined so he could continue his master’s work. Dimash is now 28 and has been in music training and education since age 5. He has multiple degrees in music and is working on his PHD in Musicology. He sings 7 octaves in 13 languages and plays 8 instruments. This song is in French. Hes from Kazakhstan. This is a Chinese talent show he was invited to. He sings multiple genres, pop, popera and what he refers to as neo-classical and even raps. I would recommend SINFUL PASSION. OLIMPICO with Igor Krutoy. ACROSS ENDLESS DIMENSIONS AND STRANGER. That tall, young, Eurasian man from Kazakhstan is the greatest technical singer on this earth. Dimash is Muslim and he is thankful to Allah for his talent and has dedicated his life to being the best for whom he calls The Creator. He is so stunning in his vocals from 23 years of classical/operatic and contemporary training, he puts American slackers (I am in that group) to shame. His parents are singers and has some wonderful pedigree behind him, but his dedication to his craft is what has made him what he is. I believe he is still studying to have his doctorate in music, or he has finished it, but he is not even 30 yet and he was only 24 when he sang on this competition show (which he unfortunately only came in second at). He's gotten better over the last five years. He constantly pushes himself to do more and is working on a doctorate in music composition. Great review. The Chinese show, "The Singer" or "I Am Singer," is several steps about the idol shows. The contestants are all professional singers invited to perform. No hideous auditions or tacky comments from judges. The studio audience determines the winner. This was the first episode of 2017. At 22, he was the youngest contestant. He turned 28 in May.

This was during the first series of"The Singer" competition in China. All.contestants are Chinese professional established singers and Dimash was invited as a.wild card foreign contestant (Dimash is from Kazakhstan, part of the former USSR). He doesnt speak Chinese and was the only foreign contestant on that show. He opened the series with this performance of SOS (a french song), and the following day, it garnered 600M views and Dimash became a superstar sensation overnight in China. Dimash is considered by many to be the best technical vocalist in the world. There are no boundaries to his vocal abilities, his control, his stage presence, his emotional intelligence. He has star power but displays true humbleness. He is kind, modest, respectful, generous, thoughtful, shy, intelligent, funny, spiritual and a humanitarian. Dimash was only 22 years old when he opened and won the very first episode of the I Am Singer Chinese show in 2017 with this performance of SOS - a showcase competition for well known, professional Chinese singers, with a voting audience of 500 people from the music industry. Dimash was the youngest and the first foreigner ever to be invited on the show (as a wildcard) and, as a total unknown in China, he wasn’t expected to last more than half the show. He practices 2-3 hours every day and he goes to a pool 🏊‍♂to help his breath control. He is from Kazakhstan, one of the former 15 republics that was part of the former USSR. He speaks Russian perfectly He has a younger brother and sister. his grandparents played a major role in his upbringing, which followed largely traditional Kazakh customs He was offered a position at the Astana Opera, but he decided to carve out his career in contemporary music, mixing classical elements and traditional Kazakh music with pop music Almost all of Dimash's songs are sung live in front of a live audience with the exception of a few music videos which is the opposite if how most American artists are seen which are in videos and hearing them on the radio. Dimash has his own production company and does not want to have to join one in America to be able to be on the radio and get his music played. He instead said "he is going to do more concerts in America." How CLEAN he is in his transitions and going up and down in range, perfect pitches is amazing and once in a lifetime performance feelings for every single one of his songs‼🤩🎶🎤👏👏🌹🌹 P.S He also competed on a show in the US called the "World's best"🌎 BUT he was lied to when he found out he was competing against children.👶 It is against traditional law to do so and Dimash honors that so he withdrew.
