Hello, we are Namaste Korea.
We read your comments.
Thank you for your comments.
We wanted to know how young Koreans think about India.
People in the video are a tiny fraction of Koreans, so please don't hate our videos too much.
We love India and we'll continue to make videos for the right relationship between Korea and India.
Please keep watching.
And if there's any video you want to watch, please leave a comment.
Thank you.

That's not a good argument. Everything is relative. And you should try visiting countries that are much more organized and safer than India to give you that perspective. Conversely someone could make an argument to you coming from a war zone like Afganistan and say, no country is safe so therefore. India may not be as unsafe as portrayed by media but it is relatively also unsafe compared to countries like korea, japan, taiwan, Scandinavia, Canada, etc. And as a man you cant simply dismiss the concerns of women. I doubt you know how really unsafe they might feel. Most of the post saying india is safe and western media distorted seem to be Indian men not women.

The red dot i.e 'bindi' (the color doesn't matter as the guy was not talking about vermilion) is not for fashion... It has a great significance related to yoga and our Ayurveda. The "red dot" is actually applied in the forehead because it acts as a acupressure point.. even a small force at that point could help to activate the 'chakra' or the energy point there and that red dot provides that force or the needed acupressure. Our culture revolves around science but it is presented as our tradition so that people could accept it more easily ,our traditions were made to benefit human being and a great example is this "red dot" itself. So always remember you are the person who belong to the land where science was born and that land's culture and traditions reflects science itself ..🙏

Except the eating with hands part, the lady did a good job. 4 points: -God created spoon and a fork which is the hand. -Touching the food by hand let us know the temperature of the food before taking it to the mouth. -Indian food is designed in a way where we need to mix specific things with specific things before eating to get the desired taste like the thali. -Eating the food with hand lets you feel the food more.

Also 99% of the Indians regularly use hands for eating, atleast they know how to eat with hands and esply eating food with hands is important coz there are some foods that require only hands !!!!!! South India, Foods are extremely common to eat with hands and very few people use cutlery on everyday basis.. it also saves water only to wash hands instead washing all the cutleries. Also temperature differs region to region for eg in south we have south east monsoon on one area and north east monsoon on the other area.. so it just different **PS: Summer is hot as hell anywhere & everywhere in India including hill stations..just hot !!! Bindi is not a fashion, it's a culture! every women wear it or not is her choice.. a single bindi can change your facial looks to a certain extent too. Regarding tourism: we have 29 states plus 7 UT.. each state is like its own country.. so they have different language, culture, food, historical artifacts to offer you.. so it's difficult to visit entire India in 15-30days !! I am a woman, who does solo travel.. so I didn't find any discomfort.. the basics remain the same, just stick to what locals do and respect it.. you will be fine anywhere !

The red dot is not a style statement.... It's the culture representation of that country... Different region different type of bindi or Tilak is used.... North South its way different... In North Tilak is used which a mix of sandal sindoor.. In South it can be plain simple sandal which is horizontal.... Tilaks are used when visiting shakti or kaali temple... So it's not a style statement it's more of a cultural expression...

1:27 Ghost pepper (bhut jolokia) is the hottest chilli and it is not used in cooking (expected some restraunts), it is only used in pepper spray used by police and girls for self defense. We don't eat it, what are you saying??!!😂

2:54 do you know there is a spiritual meaning behind a bindi? It's supposed to denote a person's Ajna Chakra, i.e "third eye" or the "eye of knowledge". It's not just a fashion. But I guess some people just do it like fashion, especially foreigners.

IDK why everyone is saying that what she said about eating with hands and Bindi is wrong. She just said that eating with hands is personal preference, which is true why would she go on and spend half hour telling the guy about the benefit of eating with hands. About Bindi true its culture and has some yogic benefits but nowdays mostly everyone wear it for fashion, weather it goes with the outfit or not and so on.

I'll get lots of hate for this comment but personally I don't think that she said anything wrong about eating with hands and bindi part. I come from a religious hindu family and I still eat my food atleast rice, daal and curry with spoon because it's my preference. Yes majority of Indians do eat with their hands but nowadays many people have also started to use spoons and i don't think there's anything wrong with that. It's not like we don’t like eating with our hands some of us like me find it difficult to eat with my hands because I don't know the proper way to use it that's why its difficult for me. About the bindi part, yes it has a religious significance I don't know much about it but now with the influence of TV serials and movies many of us belonging to the younger generation have started to put bindi as a fashion statement because it looks very good with ethnic wear. This doesn't mean that bindi is only used as a fashion statement, I think it's fine for unmarried women to wear bindi because we're not exactly disrespecting anyone and it shows that despite being westernized the younger generation still respects the Indian culture. I meant no disrespect to anyone by stating my opinions but I just wanted to say that India is a huge and diverse country and people are free to do whatever they want and wear whatever they like so we shouldn't generalize the entire population as having similar patterns of social behavior. Once again I meant no disrespect to the Indian culture and Hinduism.

I really don't thiy there's anything worth visiting in Delhi... And I've lived in delhi my entire life. Same with Agra, I mean they're just Taj Mahal, and nothing else. People should go to the Himalayas, Goa, Kerala, Andman and Nicobar Islands, North East ( which is difficult for now because of lack of infrastructure ) The only place worth visiting where foreigners usualy frequent is actually Rajasthan.

The Indian girl who was explaining about India was so biased towards North India, or she was ignorant about rest of India. Her food choices were from North India, the places to visit were from North India again. We have so many places in the West, East, North East and South to visit. And the North Indian belt of Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar is many times not safe for women.
