Yeah, there were no Oliphants at the Black Gate in the books. It was specifically stated that basically all of them that had ever been trained for war were killed in the fields, and that they'd never really be used in such numbers ever again. At least, that's what I remember, but it has been a while.

It’s simple why they don’t make anything anymore. These videos take time and effort and they didn’t gain enough (views, capital, etc.) to make making these videos affordable anymore. Likely they are busy doing other ventures and trying to make a decent living. My condolences.

We are pretty sure that, until about 600 million years ago the Earth experienced an ice age so severer that the north polar ice cap and south polar ice cap met at the equator. Often called "snowball Earth" I have wondered if Hoth might have actually been Earth. After all, 600 million years is "a long time ago" and the location of Earth at the time was "far far away" from where it is now...
