I was going to point out that Boy was coughing in the earliest part of the film, so he "literally" DID have symptoms of being sick ... and that being dunked into water is not "literally" waterboarding ... but then I saw how harsh the top 20 comments on this video are. This is a well-scripted, well-voiced, well-edited humorous summary of the movie, doing it justice in 8 minutes, and I think the director of the movie (as well as William Goldman) would have approved of it. I hope the team that put this together is doing well, wherever they have ended up. And although Boy DID have symptoms of being sick during the opening credits, they do vanish as soon as the dialogue starts, so it's a valid critique of the movie, even if it's not literally true.

4:10 you missed the scene where Vizzini attached the crest of a Guilder soldier to Buttercup’s horse, who returned to Humperdink’s castle. That’s how they knew they would be in Guilder. They likely also knew to climb the cliff of insanity, since both Vizzini and Westley’s boats were still there.

Some bits of the story make more sense if you read the novel, you not only learn more of what happened but you also find out that the little boy is standing in for the author and it was his own father who read the 'good parts' version of the actual S Morgenstern book to him was he was sick. Golden grew up not knowing that his father had skipped all the boring parts and is shocked when he tracks down a copy of the original. All this makes for a tremendous story within a story that is fun to read and will leave you with the full knowledge that the people who were picked to play the characters were all perfect for their roles.

If you have a hard time with Literally as a word used for effect or emphasis on an exaggeration or figurative statement, as it has for the last 2 to 3 centuries, then you must have a huge issue with language like Gay, nice, awful, cool, fathom, silly, addict, cute, nervous. If you mean the obvious in that you wish people knew it has for a long time been used as emphasis on a figurative statement, then I do too. Dickens used it, F. Scott Fitzgerald used it. So it has held that meaning in a manner that the general literate population would understand since at least 1839.

4:00 Murder, by definition is the deliberate, and unlawful taking of a human life by a human. The "unlawful" part here is important. Killing in self deference, or in time of war is NOT unlawful and therefore not murder. Also important is the "deliberate" part. If what you do to a person is not reasonably expected to be lethal, but it turns out to be a killing blow (like punching someone in the face) THIS is the definition of "manslaughter". In manslaughter, you've done something reckless or illegal (like punching someone in the face) but you didn't TRY to kill them. What Buttercup does here is NOT manslaughter. Pushing someone off a cliff is trying to kill them, but she was acting in what she believed to be self deference. It doesn't matter that she did it when she learned her kidnapper was the killer of her boyfriend.
