Just been through Christmas 2023. My ex Narc got in touch/hoovered before Christmas, gave me "hope" & "warmth" about us. The trauma bond is strong yet, after 1 year since I last saw her. After she started shaming me again today I told her to leave me alone if she doesn't have feelings for me. I finally have some control of the discard. It's all bullshit of course, having to play their games. I also chose to stay away from narc family member this year, which meant staying away from the whole family. Fucked up but had to be done. I've taken some control back. It's a new feeling. Also am 7months sober and smoke free. 2023 was a year fighting addiction. I just didn't realise I was addicted to my ex Narc. So I'll just say NO if she ever reaches out again. I tried for years, gave everything. It was never enough. It's pure torture. But peace comes dripping slow. I can attest to that. If you expect them to come back after a week, this time they will wait 2 weeks..it gets longer each time. In the end they won't come back at all...and you will be left wondering in confusion. Just stay away.!!

Really timely again Joe its like you have a view into my mind. 3 months of NC I was ok at first relief from blocking to stop them from contacting me digitally. However just recently I am going through a deep phase of remorse, remorse for myself and the people who got caught in the crossfire of this relationship and its toxicity. I left an already established life behind for that sucker. The grief I feel for losing the people and my pets hurts me the first and one pet unfortunately passed away 9 months after I left for the Narcissist. So now dedicated to educating myself and seeing everything clearly how the Narcissist ensnared me for their own needs which I have linked back to my toxic family my mother who is carbon copy of the ex Narcissist, it has been a painful day today realising these family dynamics - My next steps are re-establishing myself out there in the World believing in myself again... Thankyou💜for your videos they are helping me to stay strong.

my narcs first wife died so he didnt have to worry about her side of the story (bet its a doozy) he drove her to booze and an awful death...i am alive so he acts like i am dead and never existed for 10 years....that is how he can maintain his sanity and new supply by pretending i am dead....he will never hoover has to maintain he made the right decision....i am smeared all over his friends and family....no one talks to me he has them convinced i am crazy...meanwhile i did not put him in jail for physical abuse (mistake).....i really hope he gets his karma

This reminds me of what happened to me 38 years ago. He couldn't quite bring me down enough to discard me. It's a long distance relationship, and last 5 years. I was in the dark, ashamed of myself for being with him, but unable to bring myself to leave, not until I met someone new. Your words help me understand the pain I had there and then.

I think there’s a lot of truth to House’s philosophy but at the same time when you level up and get out of the addiction zone and grow you should have the emotional resilience to deal with the narcissist. The key is to always exude strength, control, charisma, and cockiness and they will always be attracted to you. Narcissists really only discard you when they see your weakness but if you’re always coming from a position of abundance and confidence there’s nothing they can do to affect you and they know it. Probably not good ppl for relationships but crazy women always make good fuck buddies
