We have tax included in all our prices in Australia it’s against the law not to. But in relation to tipping at dinner what you are paying is not tax money it’s just custom in the USA, and extremely normalised/expected. Whereas in Australia tipping isn’t really normal at all and even 50c is not expected. On top of that, some restaurants that allow tips to be accepted, don’t let the staff keep them personally, they must give them to their boss.

Omg I had a similar conversation w/ my bf about the whole hug and handshake thing. Tbh I don’t care if my homegirls handshake or hug my bf when they’re greeting. What I do care is how the hug is given. My bf is pretty tall compared to me and all my homegirls, he’s 6’2 and I’m 5’3 and my girlies are 4’11-5’1 ish height (not that it’s relevant).
