One accused me of "being too cool to converse with colleagues". So they let me go. Because normal people are fkn paranoide and do nót know how to handle a restrainted introvert. I'm actually quite a social person as an infp although not very outgoing but I can be bubbly. Anyway these days it's very hard to socialize for multiple reasons but mainly I find because people are being rude and narrow minded no offense but it just makes it more difficult in already difficult times..

The bit about INFPs feeling happy inside when they greet or compliment someone and they get a sweet warm response back is sooo true! I have this dude in my class who seems a little arrogant and acts pretty indifferent towards me normally. But once he won this competition and everyone was congratulating him, at first I thought...why bother since he's going to be indifferent anyway. But then after I thought against it and congratulated him when we ran into each other. And he gave me this bright full smile and said thank you....and I was like....OMGGG!!! That made my dayyyyy!!!!!! I still think about it sometimes even though it's been a few weeks now and it's such a small thing, but it made me feel so warm inside I can't help myself 😭

When the war began in Ukraine, I was in the South of Ukraine, subsequently my city was partially under blockade and there was a risk of its capture. From the very first hours of the war, people created a huge panic: cars were honking and tearing up the roads, queues were forming everywhere, everyone was fussing, packing their suitcases and leaving So. For me it was an opportunity to relax 🤣 Imagine your crowded student dorm suddenly emptying out. And you will be left alone in the city, which turns into a desert by 5 pm, not a single soul, everything is closed. The city is practically empty, nothing works, and you just sip wine in the evening and enjoy the orange glow (from explosions) somewhere in the distance. I know it sounds crazy, but these were literally the best months of my life in an empty city. I could just breathe out

Yesterday my child had an assembly for school awards. A boy was called up to stage and was trying to give a good ol thumbs up to every other kid that got an award... with no one else giving him a thumbs up back or acknowledging him.. i knew i had found another INFP and gave that boy the biggest, most arm raised thumbs up from the back of the crowd, he caught my eye and excitedly waved to me 🙂 your not alone kid, INFPs got each others backs. Wow, that wave of nostalgia happened to me once in the most unexpected way. I was feeling really heavy and decided to surf through the emails in one of my mailboxes for some strange reason. I started from the beginning, and there were so many good emails from my friends and family. Some photos (from the pre-social media era) and other stuff. I immediately felt so light and remembered how much I really loved my friends and family. It was like going back in time. That was a truly magnificent evening. So true, what you say in the video! There was a time a few years ago now when my church had a winter camp planned for middle schoolers for 3 days and you’d be in a cozy cabin with hot coco and stuff. My best friend at the time was going and I wanted to go to, but then a week before they left I just decided “I don’t want to go anymore, I just wanna chill.” My dad was angry, it’s not like we paid to go, but he called and said I wasn’t going. My best friend was upset I wasn’t coming with her, gut I didn’t care, it was three days of cabin camp anyways. Years later and I still don’t regret my decision. They were like “it was really fun! Why didn’t you want to come!” And I’m like “cuz I didn’t wanna.” “I don’t regret the things that I’ve done, but I regret the things that I didn’t do” -idk who made this quote, but I proved them wrong

That was delightful. I tested INFJ, but many of these ring true, except looking for something at a store for three hours. No way! I immediately ask, "Which aisle?" to the people at the counter. The faster I can find something, the better! I love to snuggle under a blanket in a snow storm because it is guilt free snuggling. The weather has given me permission to not be so productive! I always told people that my favorite weather was right after it rained and the sun is nearly setting or when it is in spring or fall and it is rainy and calm, and nobody ever agrees because they all like the sunny weather. But I think that sunny weather is super overrated because of what they represent to me. The sun always gets all the attention and people always love it, it is happy and joyful and it doesn’t know how to feel anything else but without the rain the days slowly become dirty collecting dust particles, so sunny days are seen as always being bright and happy but they don’t know how to get rid of the dirt inside. But when it is raining it represents hope and renewing because the clouds cover the sky and it doesn’t feel open or to sunny that you have to squint your eyes but it is just right and it feels like a blanket and when you hear the raindrops falling on things it is super peaceful and calming. I always have thought that the things that cry or seem depressing actually represents hope because without those times there is no way to wash away the actual problem inside. But of course when I tell people that I like rainy days more I never tell them that because they will think it is cringy and weird so it stays a thought.
