I've thought about this a lot & concluded that the more you get outside your comfort zone the more you will become a fully formed INFP OR an INFP-A. So INFP's when they're young are INFP-T & you haven't had very many life experiences & as you get older life has a way of forcing you into uncomfortable situations but you go through with it anyway bc the risk is worth the reward. And the more you do this the more confident you become in your authentic self. Eventually you will hopefully get to the point where you don't seek out these situations but you don't avoid them either. And one day you're 40 and suddenly the shy, people pleasing, person that was always 2nd guessing themselves has matured into a confident, mature, well rounded, confident in their own skin adult who dare I say is close to achieving that illusive state of "INFP NIRVANA".

I'm a very happy upbeat person and I don't view negative things in the way, that others do. When I look at something negative, it's usually for a purpose, the purpose of change, the purpose of growth. I see the positivity that comes from that and so I refused to say that it's pessimistic. Because through that, I found peace and happiness. Through that I've helped others 💓

Hi......I'm Karen (not the meme kind....the good "kind" kind) I am 100% an INFP-T. Also recently diagnosed at 64 with Inattentive ADHD. That Dr. also confirmed my INFP-ism. I'm also an HSP......also an introvert that uses dry humor/story telling as a way of fitting in. I works with the right audience. Ask me a simple yes/no question & I'll respond with a short novel. I love the way you explain about INFP's with humor & respect. Thank you. We are beautiful butterflies! I fit the mold perfectly except my (100 thousand) photos are flowers & mushrooms & piles of stones, leaves, or dog poop (if interestingly unique), or ant mounds or snow stuck to a tree...yadda, yadda, yadda.....some sky photos but only if clouds are really cool looking. Never posted any of them....maybe I should. You would like them too. They are really really cool photos. Where can I post them? My 2 friends(?) & family don't get me. They don't try.... I'm always in need of "fixing" which means live life & think their way. I can't... I won't. (I tap my foot to a beat only I can hear.) I want to drop them as 'toxic' but will be left with no friends....not a bad thing? Are they really friends? I'm fixing to move to a town I've never been to... in a state I've never lived in. Alone. They think I'm crazy.....duh? I love my solitude but would like interaction occasionally too....hate crowds. I can spend hours...days...weeks....doing one craft or another....alone.....finish some....not finish others.....and I'm a KZbin addict. A "Useless Information Sponge" Maybe an Internet Tribe would be what I need. Thanks for listening......better stop now ..... this is turning into a short novel... all about me.

I relate soo much to "think their way", like I do my best to put myself in other people's shoes but never see anyone try to put themselves in mine as much as I do... And that is frustrating... I also had friends whom I am not sure about whether they were toxic or not. I distanced myself from them. We started talking again after nearly a year. But I needed time to recover from them bc solely interacting with them caused my heart to be so angry bc of all the things that hurt me that they did but never mentioned (except for giving hints or only very few issues) bc I dont want to cause drama. Now we talk from time to time. But I won't let her as close as she was. another one, I can talk to her on occasions but I don't consider her my friend anymore(i have one other friend that doesnt really get me sometimes but we share the same values, so she is very important to me) But you have to look what is better for you whether you are better off without these (toxic) friends or not.

instincts... i really know this. its not rationality or excessive morality that should be followed but this creative imagination, magical borderline impossible and even absurd dynamo according to the logical linear aspect of the mind. the one being active when we are dreaming at night, thats the one should be enhanced to create magnificent works. yet its scary because there, there is no time and space. its can be chaotic and sometimes crazy

I never really thought Johnny Depp was an INFP.. he seemed like a play boy to me for a long time which isn't the personality type you associate with INFP but guess I was wrong

I think the media likes to project Johnny as a Studley-do-everybody because that's how they make money

Typical to misunderstand INFP, I get that too a lot. It hurts a lot when somebody accuses me of it

INFPs feel for others. He is always thinking of others and doing things for others without any fanfare so it’s easy to miss what an INFP he really is. Misunderstood and quirky, that’s us. 😊Keanu is great but I don’t think he’s an INFP.

I have ENTP and ISTP bestfriends. My husband is also an ISTP. Good thing that they have idea on how different personality works. Sometimes I do not know if people are already abusing my kindness because I always think of the goodness in them. My bestfriends are always there to remind me that too much kindness will make others forever dependent and abusive towards me.

Sometimes I am not sure if I am an INFP or not, because while I can relate. I am not exactly what my family calls me a softie but I believe it’s because I was forced to be more tough due to having insensitive family and hard childhood experiences.

That was classic. Keane reeves saying about happiness and he interprets it as its all good. I always say that too myself especially when things start shifting from not so good. And funny enough I got that reference its all good from a TV series called dark angel and one of the characters always said its all good. All good all the time.... Love it when fellow infps do or say things that I can identify with and not feel so astrocisized like a me vs them sort of mindset which isn't very healthy. 😊

A poem I wrote about nature called her majesty. Nature surrounds us Envelopes our senses The sun warms our soul The wind casts troubles free from our mind Animals gives us insight into their secretive lives Nature is the true world Authentic and life-giving We are merely visitors fortunate enough to be graced by such majesty....

Hmmm...i think the nice thing about bwing human is the messy kind of beauty it offers and that we are able to see this . From the way Their eyes can beam with emotions almost like our biggest betrayal. To the way our gestures can be observed. From how something that looks so sad can be so beautiful. And how something joyess can be so sad. I think these things are a messy kind of beauty because they are not what they seem therfore Messy🎨🌈
