I see that crap in a game the whole thing gets the pronouns “was/were” I am still so pissed about FarCry 6, by halfway through the game I wanted to switch teams so I could mix down the vegan commie pronoun characters… Hey there’s a game idea Id enjoy, you play as a man born with testicles (or absurdly hot chick who was always a chick) and you just run around destroying the woke to save the nation from authoritarian communism and restore sanity to the nation.

True. These are women from suburban Seattle, San Francisco, or Orange County, who have only known minorities as "the help." But they think listening to Drake makes them a good "ally." This is exactly it. I heard a black comedian talk about how he went to perform at this club in a historically WASPy area of the US. He said that as soon as he entered the club, the white manager ran to the back then reappeared a minute later wearing a Biggie t-shirt. Of course the white guy didn't change his t-shirt cuz he hated the comedian, or was afraid of him. He was just ignorant due to lack of experience ie actual interaction with anybody who wasn't a WASP, and was rolling with preconceived notions about what they think. He wanted to be accepted and make the black guy comfortable, he just didn't know how. Presumptuous racism stemming from ignorance is pretty harmless (because it's not actually offending anyone and can be rectified with experience) compared to racism stemming from negative personal interactions that get ignorantly reduced to a calcified mental pattern. Firstly, GTA 6 introduces a pronoun system, supposedly to make "all players feel comfortable." They've also included a trans character. It's becoming painfully clear that this inclusion is driven by a desire to check boxes rather than to enrich the narrative. The main protagonist, a Latino woman, is now referred to as "Latinx." This absurd linguistic concoction is forced political correctness at its worst. Why mess with a perfectly fine and widely accepted term like "Latino"? Worse yet, the game is heavily censored to avoid offending modern players. The beauty of GTA was its willingness to push boundaries and challenge players to confront uncomfortable themes.

In The Last Samurai's defence Tom Cruise actually wasn't a samurai (he wore the armor & fought alongside them but he wasn't one of them) & he definitely wasn't "The last samurai" that was Ken Watanabe's character, Tom Cruise acted as a vessel for the audience, he was a foreigner who could learn about Japanese culture so the audience could also learn. The last Samurai isn't about Tom Cruises character, it's about Ken Watanabe's character, a lot of people were just too stupid to realise that. Also while The last samurai is inspired by real events it's fiction, non of the main characters besides the emperor were real people.

I’m asian and I was thoroughly enjoying AC valhalla until the end of the first chapter when we start building our viking settlement and our local merchant turned out to be some woman from China. It throughly yanked me out of my immersion. I hate that these publishers think we are so fragile that we won’t be able to handle an all white society when we are literally taking a deep dive back into medieval europe. The entire game was just spoilt for me after that, as it was impossible not to notice the various DEI influences on the game. We got a black viking, a non-binary middle-eastern trader from ireland, and half of the viking raiders are buff women. 🙄

To be fair, I do believe that there are historical accounts of women warriors being a thing in Scandinavia. To be fair: Vikings were actually in direct or indirect contact to China and far east. Their trading routes reached beyond Byzantinia and were connected to the silk road. The Silkroad basically connected China to India and led through Persia to the turkey peninsula, what was part of the byzantine empire. According to the mini series "Vikings Valhalla" the fictional city "Kattegat" became a trading hotspot in skandinavia, so people from all the known world were traveling there. Depending on the time period in which Assassins Creed Valhalla played, its not that absurd, to have asian or black guys in that game. But it has to fit. The "The Witcher" series actually does appear to force their wokeness ideology upon us. Vikings Valhalla does not from my opinion.

The last Samurai is an excellent film and it is not refering to Tom Cruise's character but to the Samurai that are being rebellious to the Japanese government during the Meiji restoration period. Both Cruise's character and Yasuke are historical figures, but where they differ is the concrete records we can dig up on one and the lack thereof of the other. I dont think its retarded to have foreign samurai, but it's clear as day why one is being pushed over the other.

Yeah definitely. San Andreas, True Crime, Tomb Raider, Resi Evil, Dino Crisis, BloodRayne ect. Weren't woke because there were black people and women in them because they fitted with the story and were written organically into the game. I'm unable to care less which ethic group is in a game, especially if it has no contextual impact. I'm a Christian. I don't support the El Gee Bee Tea ideology. The individual people that make up the community are people with dignity to be upheld, just like anyone else. There's no categorization when it comes to dignity and respect. The reason why Yasuke being a playable character doesn't work is because the francise is called Assassin's Creed. What do assassins do? They kill people using stealth. In the previous games if you got caught you could loose your pursuers by running into a dense croud of people and because you were hiding parts of your face a long with you looking simliar to normal civilains, which means that you wont have to worry about about facing arrest after you've escaped as the pursuers because they don't have enough of detail discription of you to were they could ID you. Hinding in plain sight is also is also key when it comes to being an assassin as you can use that element of Stealth can be used to scout out potential entree points. This does work if the assassin is racially different from everyone else. If Yasuke were to infiltrade a place, get spotted, but is able to escape, he'd still face arrest right after as he looks radicly different from everyone else in the country. Same go's for if you had William Adams be the protagonist. BTW, Adams was an English man who traveled from England to Japan and became a samurai. I'm pointing this out, because there are people out there who claim that Assasin's Creed was, hence why it's ok for Yasuke to samurai. Meanwhile they edit Yasuke's wiki page to claim that he was a samurai all along when that's an olbvious lie. Yasuke was a retainer. Also, in a trailer for 1 of the oldest Assassin's Creed games a crossbow was being wieled by 1 of the characters in that trailer, but was not included in the game, because it was not historicly accurate.

I believe woke isn’t diversity but SOLELY RELYING on diversity. They believe that if a movie, a story, or a game has minorities in it then it’s good. Say what you want about The Last Samurai, but I love that movie. Now, if they decided to make a sequel/ spin-off after 20 years and chose to have a Black or female protagonist (or both)...I'm throwin hands - not because I hate either - but the idea that they're trying to revive a movie that was made over two decades ago by attempting to "diversify." At that point, everyone knows exactly what you're trying to do - pretty much what cinema has done with the recent Ghostbusters or Oceans 8 (I think that's what it was called).
