The infp one is dangerously true + relatable. I'm an INFP, I've literally accidentally made a lot of people question their entire existence & their reality just by being myself and unapologetically speaking what I believe in & feel💛 i have noticed INFPs have this innate intuitive, almost spiritual sense of being which inspires others so much and makes them realize that society/system is truly an illusion. The reason it is good to say is so that people will understand perspective. It helps you learn about each type. Because if you don’t agree, but it isn’t even your type, then misunderstandings happen. It is also good for relatability. Like relate to what you said. It occasionally feels safe to see things that go with how you are thinking. I’m an INTJ, I tend to look for how I am wrong so I can get more accurate answers. You saying your type, let’s me see that maybe it is a type thing.

I think that what makes INTJ dangerous is that they can work together even with someone they absolutely hate as long as it serves their purpose. i like that you picked patience for the INTJ. it’s the advance foresight, and the ability to run parallel plans / have several dormant backup plans, that allows the luxury of our patience. when i made the decision to move on from my job for example, i don’t mean i plan to resign straight away, or that i plan to resign at a target point in time. i mean i have changed my mental framing to now run my alternate plans, which include the possibility of exploring what other useful value can be extracted from my current employment in the remaining time before i leave, and as the plans unfold i will observe and select the most promising one which will tell me what the resignation timing should be for maximum benefit.

The first thing that came to my mind for INTJ was patience as well. Sometimes I've read high Te users be described as impatient (which they can be, especially Te dominants with their active tertiary Pe). However, I've never really found that to be the case personally. I've always been a very patient and perfectionistic person who naturally delays gratification in order to achieve/await what I envision to be the optimum.
@johnknight9150
@johnknight9150 Жыл бұрын
I think people over-emphasise our Te when Ni + Fi is probably our most natural state of existing. Te is something I'm good at, but it's like I have to change into gear using an enormous lever in some clunky Victorian-era machine -- it can be very hard to get going and ultimately exhausting. Plus, the urges of Te often conflict with my Fi values. It's a side of myself I don't really like very much.
@MoPoppins
@MoPoppins Жыл бұрын
I would say that I’m always EAGER to execute, but I CHOOSE patience & delayed gratification to optimize the outcome. In other words, our Ni takes precedence over our Te. We can already SEE in our mind’s eye that we’ll be dissatisfied w/ a less-than-stellar plan, prior to acting it out, so we WAIT until the moment is right.
@johnknight9150

@@johnknight9150 Thanks for the formatting tips. I *_do_* use formatting when it’s available, but not always, since ALL CAPS is easier to execute, and always available to use on all platforms, for emphasis. Introvert types are very different from extrovert types. The fact is your Dom tertiary is more relevant to you as a person (NiFi) than say Te So in that sense Te only come in play as an action auxiliary (extrovert function) Ni doms are more hesitant with information they take in, although the decisions they make is actually based on their internal values So info -> Ni -(runs through Fi to decide on action) -> Te execute Which can either mean 1) INTJ can many times make decisions based on value over what is "efficient", although they do it in the most efficient way possible. This contrasts Te-dom (ENTJ, ESTJ) where those types value efficiency first, and the other functions serve that Te It gives the impression INTJ/INFJ are more hesitant to decision making. But.. That doesn't mean they consider all possiblities. Ni is prone to making assumptions before actually reading in information (lack of extroverted perceiving function Ne/Se), and may sometimes formulate their idea first, then realize they missed out on crucial information (Se last function)

@@TheDenisedrake the thing he pointed out about us in the video is true for me at least and I'm very surprised it was something that was acknowledged, I can recall times when in a family gathering or just talking to others but specifically one where I dropped my filter to say something about a relative, mid conversation knowing it would make everyone uncomfortable. The reason I did is because people quite frankly were brushing the truth aside, and almost seemingly ignoring it on purpose, and watering down the whole thing. I realized that sometimes I drop my filter simply to prove a point that I will say the truth whether it make the room uncomfortable or not. I actually talked to my siblings about how I do this, then I click on this video and find someone else is acknowledging something about us that some people might not! Which I find this channel does quite often, acknowledging and appreciating the types for their potential and for how they work, making valid points about all of us in an actual thought through way and worded beautifully, showing appreciation in every sentence, I'm not to say there aren't time's of criticism but even those are thoughtfully cared about and worded in a respectable way! Ik how you feel though lol I have lots of deep convos with my siblings one being TE Dom other being NE Dom and my sis being NI Dom! :) Oh and dad TI lol don't get to have a ton of long drawn convos with him but when I do they are always nice! In fact a lot of times I crave talking about the truth and the what ifs are always a refreshing twist on convos! I like debating a subject as long as it's with someone I trust like my siblings but I am mainly making points of what I believe and learning from what they are saying.

While watching this, I thought of trying something. I observed that the people around me or even the people closest to me find me weird and left speechless when I let out my deepest hidden thoughts and ask them many "what ifs" and theories about the world and society. I feel that they don't like it when I talk about the societal issues and the "what ifs" and "whys" about the society and human nature. So now i'm thinking to let it out to see their reaction HAHAHAHA it was satisfying when I saw their weirded and a-little-bit annoyed faces. I'm an INFP by the way.

Lmaoo İ was the same for like many years ever since İ was a kid İ was very calm and composed until İ reached puberty or like 16 or 17 years . İ think environment really affects isfps if they are in an environment where there opinions or pov's are ignored for a long time and some changes occur that they didn't want or like they will have frequent episodes of rage at least İ can say that from my perspective. İ have also heard that İsfps have a patience of atleast 10 years that's why we are mostly calm and even tho we are angry we are hesitant to show it

As an INTP, I felt disappointed. "Out-thinking?" Anyone who has had more than one interaction with me is aware that I am thinking all the time and can probably out-think them depending on the context. That is zero-surprise. My alternative would be "PERFECTIONISM." Yes, INTPs are known for procrastination, but when we have an intellectually engaging project we are committed to, our high-Ti and tertiary Si means we are dogs with a bone. We will get that project done, son, and by "done," I mean as close to perfect as we can manage it... and our polar Fe means we might not be too particular about who is affected by our effort. I found this to be case as a legal researcher. Whether or not I was cheating some unfortunate out of their pension was irrelevant once the problem was presented and I started writing the legal brief. I'd keep working at it until I found it A+, even if that brief produced horrible results. I don't like that, which is why I am now a teacher. Yeah, I can usually outthink my students, but that is hardly dangerous.

INTJ patience - the hardest part is not planning and crafting unstoppable ideas to change the world, but when the world celebrate’s my idea, what am I gonna say at the press conferences, write in memoirs, how the parade will go, and what my statue will look like? What will I say to all the kids that stop me when I’m older and ask me how I did it? I need a little more time to think how I could handle all this….

In my opinion, what makes ISFJ dangerous is when they stop caring for others and focus entirely on themselves. If not given recognition and/or gratitude for their empathy and not being informed directly about other's intentions, paranoia sets in especially when their Ne inferior starts becoming a false prophet. Then the "why bother" syndrome kicks in, only doing what makes them feel good and overstimulates themselves to the point of extreme hedonism.

@@E3Zombie she's kinda socially awkward, often expecting a different reaction from people to her lines, invades people's personal space (all of which speaks to inferior Fe), has had many radical changes of mind throughout her career (from staunch anti-monarchist left-winger to Liberal Democrat to Eurosceptic Thatcherite Tory) which speaks to Ti-Ne, loved math as a kid and is the daughter of a mathematician, supposedly geeky in school, doesn't seem to care when everyone disagrees with her or are mad at her (Ti with inferior Fe), made it her mission to challenge the Treasury orthodoxy (again Ti-Ne), struggles with paying attention to her surroundings (definitely not Se), her train of thought is often opaque to the listener though not illogical (Ti), I'd say she's very much an INTP and it seems googling "Liz Truss personality type" shows other people think so as well.

The thing you are worried about the most is the least likely to happen. And the therapist part doesn't actually equate to emotional troubles. Most of the time is solving tests for others, writing their essays, finding an apartment for them to live in once they find themselves on the street,... The problem is rage (or pent up anger). If you think ISFPs rage is worrisome, imagine someone whose perception is not in the middle of the stack. And this is actually troublesome in so many different ways. Here we have a system we have all grown so accustomed to that some even allow that to define who they are and who others are becomes a sticker to (mis)identify strengths and weaknesses.
