Most channels just have completed builds, so it's really cool how you've taken us along on your building adventure! Amazing!

Thanks for the helpful and insightful review comparing the older and newer 1kW-hr Jackery power stations. Your points about the foldable handle and light for the front panel are great. I also have the Anker and have noticed that the dual fixed handles are cumbersome. I like your reviews and don’t understand the critical comments. They seem to miss the points you are making IMHO. They also often miss covering safety features like thermal cut out or load protection. Like how long they cut off for and if they need a manual reset

I have the Bluetti AC50B: It didn't come with the 12V AC adapter. I had to purchase that separately as well. I think these guys deliberately don't provide car adapter power cables to keep you buying things. Ironically, my Bluetti did ship with cables to charge the solar panels, that Bluetti sells. I’ve read every comment to try to decide whether to buy the jackery 1000v2. Right now oct 17th I can get the Bluetti ac180 for 380.00 because of a late delivery issue or I can cancel my order and use the jackery $40 off coupon on amazon for the 1000v2 which would be 460.00. I am so torn because I would prefer the lighter weight of the jackery yet I would have to buy an adapter to use my bluetti 200 watt panels on the jackery. I can not find which unit uses more power just being on both on ac or dc which would be a consideration and if either one stays on when a car fridge is not drawing power. If anyone knows these things, I’d greatly appreciate the answer. Also at the quoted prices which unit do you think would be the most beneficial. I already own 1 ac180 and it’s a good unit just don’t know if the jackery would be better?

If you're interested in jackery 1000s, look at their 1000 plus model it has a bigger battery and more bang for your buck.
@sstewart74414 ай бұрын
At the time I am writing this there is a $400 (33%) price difference between the two, so right now the bang for your buck award may go to the v2. Less impressive specs., but the v2 is a better fit for what I need so I grabbed one, with the 200-watt solar panel, while the kit it is on sale. Cost me $100 less for the v2 and solar panel than a standalone Explorer 1000 Plus model. Also, besides the cost savings, when compared to the Plus model the v2 has lower weight and a more compact size. The Plus model has a 18% larger battery capacity, 2,000 Watt inverter, is expandable with the Jackery add-on battery packs, and can accept up to 800 Watts of DC solar input. v2, has 1,500 Watt inverter, is not expandable, and is limited to 400 Watts of solar. Depends on which features are important to you, I guess.

You could make a great living selling. However, I like van life channels for more being on the road and traveling than being educated and sold products. I know Jackery enjoyed this video. I skipped it. Just some honest feedback.
@ToryDelury5 ай бұрын
Thank you :) I appreciate the honest feedback. I’m not really living on the road right now, I’m in building mode which is a lot of me using and testing products unfortunately. I just don’t have time for breaks to vlog right now or travel. 😅 Once I’m back on the road in October that should change again. But for example, my next set of videos will be my Air Conditioning Install & my electrical install. Those things were sponsored because they were $$$$, out of budget, So it’s just part of the journey of where I am at now. But also, this video is what pays the bills for me to buy all the wood I just bought to put in the walls and ceiling in 2 weeks 😅 But I appreciate the feedback, I know there’s been a lot of ads lately, but I’m trying to make them less “Buy this product” and more “Here’s some educational information for anyone who wants to learn more about this product.” I’m still learning how this KZbin things works & just trying my best :)

@@ToryDelury Tory, I am an aerospace engineers that build this stuff all day long (just built a power bank three days ago). I would have a spirited debate with you, but I would like to spend time with my kids. Suffice to say, be careful what you think you know and what people have told you to say. For your audience who I am concerned more, please search KZbin for credible reviewers that spend their days testing and reviewing this equipment with high load tests, oscilloscopes analysis of power signal, and have expertise in battery design and the various technologies under the hood. All it takes is one cute sensor that displays battery condition to bleed a power bank dry. The flat cost of a unit is NOT the real cost and cannot be the only basis of comparison. Or believe the person who always does her posts in a short skirt. I am sure she understands better than all the reviewers that have said Jackery is not bad but is overpriced for its value. Better yet simply ask yourself who sells Jackery and you can derive the middle men mark up on these units. They do look cool.

@@ToryDelury your info is from Jackery , not reality. Eco flow is widely known as the best brand as confirmed by dozens of other solar battery review channels, and hundreds of thousands of customers. It also has the largest selection of solar batteries and whole home back up power. Eco flow has the fastest charging and to say that’s dangerous is a misleading statement. It is not, especially with eco flow. Jackery states that because all their batteries charge slow , it’s an inexpensive, inferior product. That’s my point.
