Hi there! Glad you liked it! I plan to do more modular-thoughs videos in the future, but feel I can improve on the format a bit :) And no, not yet. There are a few videos out there already by others, but quite some people asked, so might put it on my list anyway. It's a great module and if people are interested I'm happy to make a video on it :)

yeah there some video out there.... but a bit hard to follow sometimes... personally i think you present well and clearly .. i think its a great idea as a series to cover all the Xaoc devices ... as they seem to shy away for presents... i learned a bunch of new stuff from this video...🙂

Speaking of uncommon modules, have you checked out New Systems Instruments? They make excellent stuff but seem to fly under the radar somewhat. In particular I'm a big fan of the Harmonic Shift Oscillator and the Inertia.

Thanks, such "meta-videos" about modular are far too rare. About Zadar: can you confirm that there is no simple sine shape to be found on this module? I was looking through the table of waves, but couldn't spot one. I was slightly baffled by this.
@MonotrailTechTalk
@MonotrailTechTalk Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I plan to do more, but have to find the right format a bit, think there is some room for improvement :) In any case, about Zadar: the closes to a sinewave is Bank E shape 2. That one isn't completely symmetrical though, but using the 'responds' parameter you can set it close to a pretty perfect sine.

Hello :-) personally,the reason for me was to create sounds that result far away from traditional sound synthesis in the usual guise. I started with Reason 3.5 almost 20 years ago & I always found the concept of Reason ingenious (especially via Rewire connected with Ableton Live). However, I missed the haptics. After various devices like Korg Electribe Series, Roland System 1M, Arturia Micrubrute & various pedals, the journey regarding Eurorack started in 2018 :) I was familiar with CV & GATE handling through Reason. So I just wanted the best of DIGITAL & ANALOG - Eurorack is the best of the BEST! :) In the meantime, I own an official fleet of equipment, SFX/MFX - Eurorack as well as desktop/Studiogear. 2 good mixers + Erica Syntsh matrix mixer, KRK V8 monitors, 2 patchbays, Macbook Air M1 including Motu Ultralight audio interface (plus a subinterface Focusrite Scarlett Mk2, which is directly connected to the patchbays). PS: get the BORED BRAIN InterFX V2 if you want to integrate pedals into Eurorack ;DDD

I have some dedicated modules that just do knob/slider to midi CC, so that I can control virtual instruments, which I then pipe back into the modular with an audio interface module. It is much more satisfying turning a knob than it is to do the same thing with a mouse.
