The outgoing Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte is set to become the next NATO Secretary General. Romania's president, who was the sole challenger for the position, has withdrawn his bid. He is now endorsing Rutte to take over when Norway's Jens Stoltenberg stands down in October.

@@TenylegMinekez-uc7co What i know is that Orban gave EU funds to his son in law and there were no streetlights and the receipt disappeared. Also that he wanted to make Buda Castle his second home until protests. That's why i don't like him. EU funds are my tax money too. He should be in jail.

@@Joey-ct8bm Orban is a corrupt thief ( note: EU is corrupt either at its highest level). There is no debate about Orban's personal traits related to corruption. On the other hand he is smarter than any other politician in the EU when it comes to the future of the EU. He was right about the 2015 migration crisis, he is right about the woke brainfarts and he is right about the situation in Ukraine. So believe me, many would like to see Orban out of Hungary because of his oligarchical attitudes (Ukraine would be a great fit for him), but that is because of his domestic actions. But in Europe he is the brightest one when it comes to the interests of Europe.

Hi. I'm from Hungary. I am not pro-Orbán. (I would prefer a healthy democracy over what we got.) Etc Also Hungarian minority in Ukraine is also kind-of oppressed... (Forced to learn subjects in Ukrainian even if they are living in the few remaining areas where they speak Hungarian, etc. Ukraine agreed to start complying to minority protection laws recently...) One more thing: afaik NATO could never force Hungary to go fight for Ukraine (Orbán got an empty promise that he can sell at home), as NATO is a defensive alliance, Ukraine is not a NATO country...
