You need to have someone who knows the latest about HRT to counter this awful woman’s “advice”. I want you to imagine you are in the depths of despair and are led to believe you will magically become what you are “supposed” to be by suffering through the worst time of your life-when very simply you are hormone deficient and need proper treatment. HRT saved my life. Lots of women are utterly debilitated by this condition and while fasting and exercising is good for absolutely everyone it doesn’t give you back what you are missing. It’s also true that in early 2023 the advice on HRT did a total reversal and is now advised for almost all women. This is not only because the risks are negligible but it also prevents dementia, bone loss, heart disease and yes cancer but further it reduces anxiety, depression and returns us to more normal sleep. Please have someone on this channel who knows the actual science and can help women not delude them.

As a sixty year old I don't identify with this. If women are being bitches it's cause they're bitches. All I had was a few years of walking up hot at night. It was hardly a problem. I think everyone should read Germaine Greer's The Change and stay well away from hormone replacement therapy.

Both my mother and my grandmother claimed they didn’t go through menopause. But I totally feel you when you say that you went through your mother’s menopause! I am in perimenopause, and I feel like I’m still going through my mother’s menopause!

My soon to be ex husband doesn't get it. So I'm very happy that at almost 50 he is out of my life. He wasn't a good son anyway, so he could not deliver properly as husband. Now my job is to educate our son for the sake of his future wife and daughters! And his own one!

At 49 and Struggling with Perimenopause, I can agree that changing my lifestyle greatly reduced and normalised my symptoms to some extent. I joined my local gym, started working with a personal trainer, got put on a low calorie nutrition plan, lost 20 pounds since December - and I’m feeling probably 80% better, I’m sleeping, far less hot flushes, a little bit more emotionally regulated… I actually started just to reduce some of my menopausal belly fat, but it’s turned out to be the thing thing I’ve done for myself.

I had surgical menopause at 35. No one talks about that. Having a full hysterectomy at 35 is my life's greatest regret. I was on HRT for 15 years and finally stopped and have had a horrible life since. I can't sleep, can't deal with family stress, weight gain is insane. The only thing that gives me some relief is a daily full body dumbbell workout and walks outside. Fasting is hard with hypoglycemia. I even considered suicide, which is not at all like me.

That's awful I pray to God you get better hang in there you've got this while I am still fertile and young I have been suicidal before and it does get better I hope you talk about you r doctor or therapist about it to get the help you need you are loved unconditionally by God even if you don't believe in them and you are strong sending you love🧡

Women can’t get hormone replacement therapy patches in Australia and the world, thanks to the attention seeking parents and adult males that make a choice and decide to either mutilate their bodies of healthy young boys or their male bodies. Using FEMALE drugs to cosplay another gender when REAL women require these drugs to help them with the natural aging process that takes place. A process that REAL WOMEN cannot control or prevent and some require life saving treatment for. Rather than a social media driven, government developed attention seeking acts of mentally ill people pretending to be something they’re not! Australian women are now at a higher risk of osteoporosis, heart attack, stroke, anxiety and panic attacks, debilitating night sweats day sweats, dementia and suicide. Why the F is this allowed?!!! I'm 51 and this past summer I almost killed myself and in so many ways....I did. I went outside and chose to be homeless for 23 nights....I just wanted to be alone and die. No period for 10 months now. Starting to feel better now, but I'm tramatized by the last few years of my life. I had no idea perimenopause was this bad. I use cannabis. I've never tried hrt or anything else. Perimenouse hurt so bad...it truly was killing me and my relationship with my adult daughter. No joke.

I'm staggered no one told me. We are given info we need when starting our menstruation, but there is no handbook for menopause. Thank you so much for this - it gave me so much hope for my upcoming life, that it made me cry. I'm almost there, feeling the calm coming over me. I'm grateful for a wonderful, understanding husband. He made it through with me, we are almost there. He also makes me feel beautiful every day, despite my aging, actually celebrating it. I don't know how I would've done with out him.

Menopause has had me on a horrible roller coaster ride. I have found out I have Adhd and Autism. Everyday I feel like I’m Gaslighting myself and I’ve been so scared that I have Alzheimers, but the cried because I found out it’s menopause. I am 49. I have Graves’ disease, ibs, reactive arthritis, and asthma too. I am over weight and cannot drop Weight even though I eat like a hippie. HRT patches have saved my mental health. But I still Need help!

Just a mess. 51 now...no period for 10 months...feeling a wee bit better. Tough stuff Darling...hang in there. I love you. We are in this together. You are far from alone love.

At 40 and perimenopause hit me so hard, I'm now 42 and starting to feel more human again.... wished I'd known what was going on with my body before now! It's been hell and then some! Understanding what is happening is so important, once I gain knowledge of what this shitshow was it instantly became more manageable. Information is gold..... Oh I feel for you Darling. I'm 51 and your hell hasn't even started. Nothing could have prepared me....I was suicidal....made myself homeless for 23 nights. Scared the crap out of my 22 year old. Wow, I turned into a monster. 10 months now no period. Starting to feel better. I destroyed my life in the past few years. No, I don't miss it.

The brain fog is treacherous! I'm 43 and am on the other side of menopause now. I started early thanks to my thyroid condition and PCOS, but the brain fog is the one thing that persists and is still a struggle. I know my limits now, and I understand my hormones SO much better.

I had my last period at 46 before that in my peri menopause phase I had major hair loss, the worst pms mind you I never had major pms like that before.!My boobs felt like I was lactating, the worst nausea,major irritation , the sight of poop in the toilet sent me to hell. After I missed that last period I noticed my skin is better no hair-loss, very slight nausea. I don’t know what’s ahead but I pray for continual better days

The stats are actually outdated. Most women start at 38. Ask your friends. You will see it.

Do you have trauma especially developmental or complex? Please check it out. There’s a definite link between trauma, adrenals, glands in the brain, hormones etc. It’s not just about the body or individual genetics (if so it’s probably epigenetics due to inter generational trauma not biology..) Contrary to what ‘they’ say, it’s not normal for a woman to reach menopause in her late 30s or even till mid 40s.

Also the processed foods we are eating nowadays are causing early menopause because they have harmful chemicals. I am 39 and I can already notice inconsistencies in my cycle and the symptoms mentioned in the vlog. My mother told me she had her last cycle at 55 years. She has spent a lot of her life in the countryside with much less stress and always fresh foods straight from the garden, so I think that has contributed to her good health.

At 56 years-old, my period finally (fingers crossed) has come to a sudden stop. I am fairly healthy: since 2018 I cut out obvious sugar (lollies, cakes, biscuits, etc), and have very limited wheat and almost no meat or dairy. I don't think I had any peri-menopausal symptoms apart from maybe two months of hot flushes once my period stopped (and no associated sweating) maybe two-to-five times a day. I used to get brain fog, but when I cut out sugar in 2018, it cleared. I'm grateful it has (thus far) been a breeze.

Oh God the forgetfulness is so true I thought I was going mental or loosing my edgy mindset. I even got nasty comments like you are like Dory in Finding Nemo!, I'm a teacher so that really hurt to hear that. I find the ages she is quoting here is very odd, from my own, and my friend's experience, Menopause is from 52-54 upwards, and the drop in hormone levels (Which blood tests can identify) called Peri-menopause starts around 45 upwards. The real Menopause issues like brain fog and sweats/flushes affect women whose periods have stopped, for years in some cases. She makes it seem like they all go away once periods stop, that is not the case. Everyone experiences menopause so differently but the age scale she is referring to is less common for the general population.

You and your friends were lucky, but there are variations in age, and menopause is happening earlier for a lot of women. Perimenopause starts about 10 years before the last period, and does cause menopausal symptoms for a lot of women during this phase. I know of several women who went into menopause from early to late 40’s. I think about 1/3 women will have severe symptoms too.

I was in full menopause at 38. I didnt use any hormones. It was hell. Im 48 now. I still never got my mental stability back. I still have night sweats. Mood swings. I have always battled depression. But menopause caused a deep depression.

The brain fog is real. Freaking annoying. And being more tired. Forget eating sugar or salt - the body can't handle it with blood pressure and increased insulin resistance.

I thought I knew about menopause and was expecting hair loss, hot flushes and periods to go skewiff. Didn't see any of these in my 40s so I felt lucky I hadn't started my peri menopause. Unbeknownst to me, it had been creeping up for years and had not noticed bc i was unaware of any other symptoms apart from the ones i just mentioned. I had completely lost my libido, had slowly lost all motivation to do anything (least of all exercise), was constantly tired, had many ligaments/tendon issues so couldn't walk far and was in pain, put on a stupid amount of weight especially around my middle and had suicidal thoughts just before i would get a period (but didn't realise that connection at the time). This went on from age 43 to around age 50 when finally my periods started getting irregular and the penny dropped. Still no hot flushes and my hair is ok. Four months ago at 51, I started HRT patches and I'm beginning to feel like 'me' again. I still have a way to go bc many things haven't returned but at least I'm aware of why I feel the way I do and can better understand my self as can my husband. Many older women may say...'Oh I never had any menopause symptoms when I went through 'the change', but I bet they did and just didn't know that is what it was!

Thank you for making me feel some what "normal" after saying that there is a high rate of suicide during perimenopause (as ive had suicidal ideation ) so this is now making alot of sense to me. Ive been going through perimenopause since 37 - 38 yrs old (potentially even earlier as i only took real notice when the changes were intense and spoke to my GP who said no your not, your too young. I said i am, i know my body My doctor has put me on zoey which has helped me through my perimenopause plus aniexty medication (its getting me by, but its still a struggle) The pill has helped my sleep and lowered the hot feet at night. Thanks for this open discussion to normalise these symptoms

I am 53, in peri menopause, thanks to keto and IF no symptoms! I feel great and strong! It is also the mindset: I have never feared menopause, I have always been looking forward to it, to get liberated from the periods, I see it as a positive change in life! I have heard that our surrenals take over some of the production of hormones, if we are healthy with a healthy lifestyle. I often talk about my menopause. I do not see why it would be a taboe.

I’m 48 and thought I was too young to be going through this already but too many symptoms pointing towards menopause. The night sweats just started. @@HH-gv8mx I will try what happens when I eat more fatty fish, egg yolks, butter and liver paté. To get more fat and vitamin A. These are needed for the lipid layer (made by the meibomian glands in the eyelids) on the eye that keeps the tears from evaporating. Good luck to you too!

Have to comment again - I do the keto variation naturally, my body asks for carbs and generally more food abt a week before I should be getting my period, 3 days into the cycle (even if it doesn't arrive physically) I experience a dramatic drop in appetite. The rest of the time I eat keto. Thanks for an interesting show!

I think this is great , not something to put us down. Understanding our cycle means we learn to manage our life around it. We can still move forward during different times of our cycle but we can't be doing the same thing , for example that men can do. For example, weight training for men and women is different because men can train the same way all month, while women its more beneficial to lift heavy 2 weeks of our period and lighter or cardio movements the other 2 weeks, depending on our we feel. We can move forward but not the same way. Diet is key and weight training for balancing hormones. For example, I still work hard during certain time of my cycles but if for some reason Im having fatigue or close to my period I will not be hard on myself mentally. The rest of my cycle Ill be very strict with my schedule and will push myself but the world will not end if Im easy on my self 1 to 3 days of the month.

I had no problems in peri menopause. I have many symptoms since turning 50. Post menopause hasn’t been good. Three years on I’m still waiting to turn the corner. It’s very frustrating.

I also now have fibromyalgia- 😢 every day is a struggle, migraines IBS I totally understand why 45-55 high suicide rates are so high. I want to eat better/ move more but too tired or in pain 75% of the time

I recommend the non-soy HRT cake recipe, and going paleo. 10 months since my last period, and I’m 51. Spend a lot of my time furious. My mother, who was a complete basket case during her menopause, has completely blanked me - in her memory (she’s now in her 80s), she never experienced any of the symptoms and she was an angel. Ha-flipping-ha.

Diet has been crucial for me. I've been perimenopausal from age 36 after having anorexia, and I'm now 44 and closing in on the finish line. I bloody LOVE not having a period. I feel like my mood is so stable. Fertility has been one big long depression for me.

This is so encouraging ! I hope when I hit perimenopause, it feels just like this. Fertility years were not my best. Still not are. It felt/feels like injustice to me.

@@K1ngq4t Perimenopause can be AWFUL when you're in the hormonal swings, but totally manageable with the right diet and lifestyle! Personally magnesium supplementation has been key, I use magnesium chloride gel, but heard Neuro-Mag is amazing for mood and mental health. Haven't tried it yet myself tho.

This is something I like talking about bc ppl do not talk about it.. but my issue is I’m 60 and I think I had my last period in June 2023.. my doctors took all kinds of tests bc they said “ there’s no way you’re still having periods.. it must be something else.. well every test came back negative.. it even said I was in peri-menopause and not menopause.. so now I wait…. To see if this is the last one 🤦🏾

Complete nonsense for someone actually experiencing Perimenopause or menopause. Same con as “happy hormones”. The things you’ve suggested do not prevent heart disease, stroke, night sweats, osteoporosis, thoughts of suicide or suicide. Get your Mayo Calm to help level out your hormones and add Zinc. There’s also various other herbals that will help you lower stress and level your hormones. Get them checked too because foods will even make them change. Some foods will hurt.

Eesh, menopause absolute minefield, some sail through while for others it's like sinking in quicksand. Mines the latter, drives me insane how I can't affect it. Have always had an interest in natural health and fixing problems through the gut and liver but hey ho, not this time. HRT has helped a little but still feel I've lost myself and this is 10 years on.

All of this is like PCOS. We aren’t taught to get our levels checked and how to treat with healthy foods and supplements that provide what’s lacking and lowering what’s too high. We’re told we have a problem and just take another drug and it makes it worse. Only now are doctors and women in general finding a spot to mention we must find better ways to test and fix or help lower or increase hormones naturally. Sure, there are many who can’t naturally because their doctor doesn’t know how to do it naturally but many times it’s a bad gut issue. Know your body to the point you can feel the difference a food or supplement does for you. Write it down.

My friend committed suicide in the menopause she was 52. I am now 52 and finding the menopause brutal. I have come off HRT as it was making me worse back to trying to tackle it naturally. My mother had a hysterectomy and was crazy afterwards screaming shouting talking to herself she wasn't given HRT for years.

My mom had a hysterectomy and was completely insane afterwards. She was so mean and awful to me. She became such a grouch. I don’t think she ever did HRT. She said that she never went through menopause because of having a hysterectomy. But it sure seems like she went through menopause. She was just awful!

Can you please tell me are we in menopause from 12 months after our last period until we die at whatever age that is. If I still have my womb and ovaries do I still have the right balance of hormones. Apart from not having severe sweats i have all the symptoms of menopause brain fog , low libido, anxiety, I am 64 and my last period was 14 years ago. Should I be on HRT. I hear the study that said the HRT caused a high risk of Breast Cancer was proven incorrect recently. Do GP’s know about this

I’m going to be 54 next month and had a hysterectomy but kept my ovaries about 4 years ago. No idea what or if my hormones exist but I am having brain fog, which could also be my thyroid and huge amount of stress. Just started taking care of my 96 year old grandma. Does this mean I only have one more year of crazy 😂😂😂
