3:58 Certifications cost money and many people cannot simply take a lot of them. Microsoft offers Free training, so doesn't it make more sense to follow the training paths but get only the more advanced certs?

There is no certification for Exchange anymore unfortunately. Microsoft retired the exam back in January

Hi John / Everyone, I have been in the IT-support for 4-5 years now with MS-900 and AZ-900 in the bag ( both this year ). Starting this year, I wanted grow out of the support and leaning towards Cloud: AZ-900 > AZ-104 > AZ-305. Would you say MD-102 might be a good idea to focus on right now? I've heard that MD-102 has a lot of Intune, or just go for AZ-104? Also, please note that I'm from support-level ( helpdesk), could it be that I would be missing some important/relevant information to know before going into Cloud Engineering? ( do you need some system engineering experiences first? ). Thanks and Regards, Robin :)

Kind of depends on what you really would rather focus on. There is the Azure resources focused path (AZ-900 > AZ-104 > AZ-305) and There is the Microsoft 365 focused path (MS-900 > MD-102 > MS-102) In a perfect world, you should do both paths. But you'll need to choose which to go after first.

I purchased two of your Udemy courses, SC-900 and AZ-500, in June. I today passed the Microsoft Azure Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) exam (900/1000) and passed my AZ-900 on 7th June (873/1000) The AZ-900 experience did help somewhat for SC-900. Microsoft learning and Udemy were used for both, along with 200+ practice free questions for both exams. Next up, I need to decide on doing MS-900 or going straight onto AZ-104 or AZ-500, which will no doubt be a real test, but one I look forward to tackling. Do you have an opinion on whether I should move onto AZ-500 next, or should I do AZ-104 before AZ-500? I did try to find Microsoft exam vouchers for the UK unsuccessfully, I need to invest in myself, though, if I wish to secure a cloud role this or next year. Thanks to your excellent Udemy course, I passed. I look forward to taking my next course with you.

@examlabpractice Hello and Thanks John, I purchased your AZ-104 Udemy course. I'm looking forward to expanding my knowledge. Consensus does seem to be to do AZ-104 before AZ-500, as while Associate level, it is a very good foundation for other MS certs.

Can you boost your audio a bit in your udemy training videos? I've taken approx 5 now and each one I have to crank up your training audio about 30-50% louder which makes it difficult to manage other audio sources. Love the courses! I like the pace they take and I think that's a bit of a lost art in most training videos.

Hi John, I just purchased your MS-102 course on Udemy, I'm a bit confused though, does this exam have prerequisite? Do I need to pass SC 300 or MS 900 first before MS-102?

You do need to pass a pre-requisite before taking the MS-102. I usually recommend MD-102. There are other options. Please read this info; learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/m365-administrator-expert/#certification-prerequisites

You wouldn't need to take any of the AZ certs really. I would recommend taking MD-900 as that would build you a solid Microsoft 365 foundation since the SC exams are more geared towards that material. Then I wouldn’t recommend SC exams. I would recommend this path: AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-500 in that order

Those would help a little for sure. But you would be better served taking AZ-900, then AZ-104, before taking AZ-500. That would be my recommended path if you want to make things easier on yourself when you get to the AZ-500.

It’s more Microsoft 365 focused. You could actually take it before or after AZ-104 and it would be fine
