"Animals can enslave you". That is the most profound statement I have heard in a long time.

Simeon, good seeing you, outstanding presentation. I would wholeheartedly agree with you . . We see many homesteaders/Farmers that I have personally encountered here in Florida certainly missed that target. You are truly insightful in the perspective of what it really means to be a homesteader. Look forward to your update on your trip. Mark/Irish Acres

Hi Simeon! sorry I missed you again! we have been so busy around here with our garden. We are getting rain, and I am so happy as it has been by passing us and the ground was cracking. It is so good to see you on the replay. How are things going with your visa? I hope you find y'all are in good health. May God keep guiding you in the area that your in and keep blessing you before you get to the states.

Same here - apologies for missing you. A break in the rain and I shot out to do the birds! Might be a good year for hay - it is already past my knees! It has been so bad, very difficult to get to do things outside! A successful time for you in Switzerland, must be a great feeling when people totally understand like a lightbulb moment! Hope the family is well. For us it is to produce our own food and excess is given to family and friends. It was away from the crowds and to appreciate the wildlife around us. I agree the veg patch gets neglected because the weather demands our birds get first dibs when the sun comes out! At the moment my husband is away for 3 weeks and I've discovered I cannot do it all alone. So will downsize the flocks in order to rotate the ground and let some parts rest. I do enjoy the bartering - swapping eggs for plants, bread and fruit though. Definitely want more wild flowers in the field - insects seem to be very sparse this year. Looking forward to the Swiss videos and the visa update - keeping fingers crossed for you. All the best xx

Hi, Simeon, My name is Jimmy from Johannesburg South Africa. A couple days ago I ran into your youtube channel and watched several programs that were very interesting. I know you are going to the U.S.A. So, I am wondering whether you still keeping the Bresse chicken or not? Actually, I need some eggs.
