I like how Japanese people appreciated every genre of music. In my country it was quite hard to find people with indie or rock music taste. Basically pop and kind of ballad music was more popular. And yes, classical was something that I say not common.

The awkward moment when Yuta is told "Your Japanese is good"...I burst out laughing...But Seriously I am very surprised when Japanese people get confused by the looks of other Japanese...I am sure Yuta is 100% Japanese..

I am but I guess I wasn't really 'acting Japanese' so they weren't sure.

The lady said "You didn't look Japanese"..But it's interesting when you say you weren't really acting Japanese..I wonder what you mean by that..Asking people about what kind of music they like is not Japanese behavior??

I think wearing T-shirt + rucksack also had an influence on her thought of Yuta not being Japanese

I found it funny that 2 indonesian people that Yuta accidentally interviewed said that L'Arc~en~Ciel is their favorite band. I come from the same country as them, and I would have responded the question by the same answer too...

i just recently got into more j-pop and j-rock like one ok rock and aimer and didnt realize how unpopular it seems to be for locals in japan. Its really cool to see that music tastes are so diverse though! I wish i had studied up on my Japanese more when i visited this summer so i couldve talked about music and stuff i like from Japan but maybe next time :P Was expecting a lot more rock fans though at least since it seems like rock is really popular in Japan, whereas here in the US its kinda dead lol

Not one person mentioned The Mad Capsule Markets? I thought they were meant to have been really big in Japan before they went on hiatus? Heck, their bass player Takeshi Ueda produced Gimme Chocolate and Awadama Fever for Babymetal (also nobody mentioned Babymetal). Am I just old and jaded now? :(
