Thai is the first video I’ve watched from you. Your voice very soothing and your cheerful spirit is contagious. 😊

Thank you so much for this video! :) Correct me if I'm wrong but I've heard that olive oil shouldn't be used to fry something because the high heat actually turns it from a healthy into an unhealthy fat. Maybe you know more about this? Also, just a comment about the belts on the high chair: Don't buckle up your babies when you're doing blw. In case of choking the seconds spent to unbuckle your baby could've been the ones that would've saved your babies life. If choking you want to be able to react as quickly as possible. Doing blw you never let your baby unsupervised so the belts (especially the 5 point belts) are not necessary. Regarding cleaning: In case you have a nice floor, you can use a plastic mat used for desk chairs to protect the floor and put it under the high chair. This way, it's way easier to clean the floor and you protect it at the same time ;)

Off topic, but I love your style! Would love a closet tour video sometime! I think that’s how I found you, one of your wardrobe declutter videos a while back. Also, just another side note. You look stunning with your natural hair grown out. It suits you so well. ❤

Thank you so much 🥹 I always debate changing it but it’s definitely nice having it natural! And I can definitely do that sometime! My closet is seriously so minimal right now haha but maybe that would be helpful to see!

Yes please! Love minimal closets! I’m 5 months pregnant and my closet is super minimal as well.

You look very well rested and seem to have everything under control. Im tired all the time. My baby doesn't like solids and is the worse sleeper

My 9 month old doesn’t even eat that much! I’ve tried all the things and it gets exhausting when you make stuff from scratch or for just them and it doesn’t get ate.

Thank you for posting this!! My son is 4 months now but just trying to educate myself as much as I can for September starting solids! 😊 nervous but excited

Hi, à little off topic here. That high chair is great and it was made so that babies can have their feet touching the board to give them a better sense of stability when they are eating. Just saying in case you didn't know, if you wantvyou can totally bring up one wooden board. Great video.
@BethGraceMoore Жыл бұрын
Hello! Yes, we do know it’s adjustable! Our toddler still uses the chair occasionally so it just hasn’t been moved yet. It’s on the list of to-do’s though :)

You feed your children so well 😍 Did both of yours have an appetite for solids right away or did it take time?
@BethGraceMoore Жыл бұрын
Thank you! 🥹 Both of them were interested for sure! Paying attention to when they start reaching for food is a helpful sign to watch for (among many others haha) before starting solids. Jude took a while to actually get the food into his mouth but after 2 ish weeks he was a huge fan!

@@BethGraceMoore that’s lovely. Both of my kids hated solids instantly and I kind of beat myself up about it I guess. Now that they are 10 & 5, it’s getting easier. My 10 year old asks for kale salads. Never thought that would happen. 😆 Thanks again for a great video. My niece is young so I’m always trying to learn.

Any tips on getting them to feed themselves? We started solids at 4 months directed by paediatrician , but hes just not interested in using his hands he grabs stuff and plays with the food but doesnt put it in his mouth.. any tips ?
@BethGraceMoore Жыл бұрын
I think it just takes time! We started at 6 months because Jude had been reaching for our food which is an indicator of readiness. It still took 2 ish weeks for him to successfully get food to his mouth. I would say follow your baby’s lead! If there’s a medical reason for you to be starting at 4 months even iron fortified rice cereal could be a good start.

My EBF 4 month old had such red/ raised, rough skin on her face until I cut dairy out of my diet & her skin has completely cleared up…. I’m thinking she may have some sort of dairy intolerance as well, what were your indicators for Jude?
@BethGraceMoore Жыл бұрын
Same thing for Jude!! In his case though he will be in pain for almost 24 hours it seems after it gets into his system. Just uncomfortable, gassy, stiff legs, etc. Also gets constipated and the worst symptom is that he’ll vomit up everything he ate. 😭 sometimes multiple times.

Are you able to breastfeed and drink coffee?? I am really looking forward to coffee this winter but if I'm breastfeeding I didn't know if it would give the baby caffeine

Yep! Totally fine. I drink one cup per day in the mornings.

Why do they place the ad right on the space where I want to comment, so annoying. Anyway, thanks for the great idea of adding spices to scrambled eggs. For your toast maybe substitute it with a teething cracker and then put the peanut butter and flaxseed on that.

How did you get him to put food in his mouth? My 10 month old doesn’t put anything in her mouth. Toys, tethers, food, nothing. Only her fingers. It makes mealtime take forever and I have to sit there the whole time feeding her.

Babies have instinct for natural food...i wonder if that may be a reason for disinterest in toast. Great video
