I started paying attention to Tua back in 2016, when I heard about his recruitment. I always followed who we were after at the QB position, but I always kinda didn't like the ones he went after. Blake Simms if recruited as a QB he would have blown the numbers away in 3yrs at Bama ,but he was recruited as a running back. I saw Jalen also, and I was blown away watching him, but ppl forget that High School, and College are on 2 entirely separate levels. But I watched Jalen and watched him over and over. His progression as a passer was shit! And it didn't seem to get any better as the season went on in 2016. 2017 I wanted Tua in the games more,i watched this kid over and over just like Hurts, he has such a natural beautiful pass, and so accurate. Tua is a bit of Jonny Manziel with Marcus Mariota sprinkled with a football knowledge that is remarkable. I have no doubt he wins the heisman, mabe twice.
@dh05148836 жыл бұрын
Y’all are all crazy. Tua might have good numbers, but he’s no better than a lot of excellent quarterbacks in D1 this year. He’s good, but I just don’t see him being this college version of Tebow and Manziel. Jake Fromm is only going to get better, and if anything happens to him, then Justin Fields will take over and he is the real deal Holyfield. Fields will win at LEAST one heisman when he takes over.

Today's Hike. Did you watch any Bama games in 2016 and 2017? In 2017 that is how Jalen played in most of his games. Jalen's accuracy passing the ball is the least of his performance problems. Jalen is a one read run quarterback who doesn't go through his progression. If his primary receiver is covered up Jalen would tuck the ball and run toward the sidelines. Also Jalen can't consistently throw in tight windows. He Couldn't throw with anticipation based on when receivers would break on the ball. And Jalen's mental processing speed was too slow to read decent defenses. Its sound like you are making excuses for Jalen when he played the same way in 2017.

Everyone just hopping on Tua bandwagon are shameful. Lol This man was nice in High School as well. I've said before and will again Jalen needs a dedicated QB coach and Lane left. Tua is a better all around QB, but Jalen is a decent back up.

Bama might outright win the national title the next three years, maybe the next five, Tua's younger brother is just like him, a little taller, faster, and getting better with his accuracy. Any young HS # 1 prospect whether defense or receiver will love to be with Alabama, thisis just the beginning, Tua is only a SO, he is smart so a possibility he might play until he isa senior. An NFL team the following year , 0-16 might not be so bad, build your O-line, defense,draft some receivers next year, and wait for the "Savior from Samoa!"

Tua is good! Hurts might want to find another team. He would start for alot teams. His career could continue to grow. Tua is the quarterback for Alabama.

THIS IS WHY I LOVE NICK . TO ME THE SEASON IS ONE BIG GAME. YOU CAN NEVER TAKE IT EASY. THE TIDE DID SOME DUMB STUFF IN THE GAME. AGAINST A GREAT TEAM THIS COULD BITE THEM IN THEIR ASS.

5:40 The difference between Hurst and Tua in a nutshell, Hurst should that one thing or his quarterback career is over. In the side line photos Hurst wrinkled forehead told me all I needed to know, he saw Tua walk right pass him. Thank you Hurst for all the great bama football, Roll Tide!

I live just outside of Louisville and the couple of weeks leading up to the game and their fanboy call-in shows grew more and more ridiculous. Those people have very short memories... they've completely underestimated the sheer number of times Lamar Jackson bailed them out....hell, they weren't that good with him to begin with.... thanks bama!.... the call in shows should be comedy gold this coming week!

He wanted Petrino fired so he poured it on. I think Petrino is the only coach Saban would bury on purpose. Maybe Les Miles half jokingly.

I hope we can see bama play Oklahoma again. But i know there's Lots of great teams this year so it's probably not going to happen. Very arrogant press conference from Nick. Unbecoming and bad example for our younger people. I'm disappointed.

Yeah they got every call on the field as well. All Louisville had to do is look at the quarter back and get a roughing call. Interference that was not there and a myriad of other bad calls. We kne Alabama would win but this?

Louisville Had A Missed Facemask That Was Actually Called On One Of Our Players During The Same Play And A Missed Chop Block On Quinnen Williams But Yeah You'll Skip Right Over That Cause It Dosent Fit Your Biased Narrative.

Omg our defense look like crap they got to clean it up like really fast .when they go up against a good offense they will score on them every time they get the ball . They sure couldn't run up the middle because our boys look like some one call them to dinner. Louisville took it to both outsides and run the ball down our throat. No way you will get passed a good team like that. The offence was ok I'm sure they will get better with playtime. THERE FAR FROM BEING ON A ROLL!!..

oh Nick Saban issued an apology to the reporter but I don't feel it was heartfelt enough, he didn't REALLY mean it... so Nick Saban should have his entire life and career ruined. it's only fair, seeing as how that's the norm at ESPN when they're horrifically jilted by a big college football coach and they act like a girlfriend who's been cheated on or something.

Look I'm a huge Saban fan and a life long Bama man but that shit Coach pulled on the sidelines after the game with the reporter was just to much. Hopefully the University president will give him a call and remind him of how unprofessional that was. The only reason everyone is asking about which quarterback he is going to start is of his own doings. I could understand a couple of times in the past not naming a starter but in this situation there is no tactical or psychological advantage 2 gain from not committing to the best guy that gives you the best chance to win. For him to tell a reporter to quit asking kinda makes him look real petty. that latest contract extension didn't Grant him some kind of superpower to be a total dick head to a reporter after a football game. That's my two cents ROLL TIDE ROLL !!!
@Thumpr1106 жыл бұрын
bigstick66 Wood his superpower is being unable to move his hands because of all the rings weighing them down. I think he gets angry about the QB situation because he likes both of his QBs and isn’t happy with the decision he’s going to have to make.

@AraluenSparr6 жыл бұрын
bigstick66 Wood Are you being serious? He handled it as professionally as he could considering how EVERYONE knows how he feels about the question. His words were "I'm not going to disrespect anyone." How was that unprofessional? Yeah he was fired up, but that's a given. And he's right too, the media has been trying so hard to get him to try and say something negative about Jalen, and it's ridiculous.
