We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning kzbin.infoUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

Sony bdv n9200 was the ultimate home theater system unfortunately sony hasn't released an upgrade st5000 had the potential but the lack of surround speakers and magnetic fluid isn't doing it much favours

Very good speaker. Discovering 360 audio with amazon hd files, the 3D ones and the regular ones. All the files sound excellent. Very good stuff from Sony. Expensive but if you search well you can find some 40% less expensive. Anyway, this thing is excellent and nice. Bravo Sony !!!! 🙂🏄‍♀️🤩

They should blame, SONY, EMI and so on, because they are the owners of spotify. Flossy Carter did a review of it that just really showed an amazing misunderstanding of it. He clearly did zero homework about and just bought it sight unseen. Then proceeded to "review" it 10 minutes of playing with it. When it's very clear that this is essentially a new type of speaker. And as you say does not have a conventional sound stage. He should have spent some actual time with it and actually reviewed what it is instead of comparing it to a fucking JBL party speaker 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦 Just an utterly superficial "review" that is completely worthless in terms of an actual break down of the RA5000 whatsoever.

Flossy tends to be a bit negative about Sony products. I also don't think he spends very much time with products that are not Apple and Samsung since those are the products he uses regularly.

@@koichi.k1161 His phone handset reviews are really good, and he's actually quite impartial with those, but I don't think reviewing speakers is his thing, I wouldn't pay ANY attention to anyone who judges a speaker based purely on how loud it goes sat on a table for 10minutes. It needs to be done as it was here - spend some time with it, and understand the features.

I have the RA5000 and personally I think it sounds brilliant. I love the ambient room filling sound. And the 360 reality Audio tracks sound very interesting on it.
