What PAX Australia is like in 2024 | Melbourne vlog, cherry collectables haul

My friend and I went on Friday and Saturday for our 2nd time and we had a blast, but there were definitely less panels than our first time in 2022. It was also missing more stands from Nintendo or xbox than I wanted. It was fun to check out some of the interesting Indie games (some of them were actually pretty good), we played in a fun N64 Goldeneye tournament in the classic games section, we entered the Catan tourney on Saturday afternoon. The winners of tourneys won a fun gold PAX chain thing. Would love to see more from the big developers and more merch options as I wanted to spend money but couldn't find much that I wanted.

I was there on the saturday. It was my first time too. If I had of seen you I would have said hi. Just missed you by a day. Good to see you having so much fun. I enjoyed most of it. I just thought it would have been bigger. There was also no Xbox or Playstation which I thought was strange. Sounds like it was bigger before covid. Being a PC nerd, I loved seeing all the weird PC builds. And it was heaps of fun playing all the old games and consoles. I also saw a counterstrike tournament. The food and coffee was ok for a convention. Will go back next year

Yeah g'day, I would love to go to one of those, but crowds are an issue for me. With a movement disability, I am even more anxious when in groups. Unfortunately, my kind of gaming, a tabletop wargame, isn't covered. Also, when having coffee, I prefer to chill, sit back, shoot the breeze with friends, or just read. Very interested in your views on some of the dealers(hucksters). A nice card haul there. The Strine accent is slowly coming along and we LOVE it. Cya you round like a rissole.
