I would love to see videos from you visiting the North, Las Galeras, La Playita, Playa Rincon, Caño Frìo, Playa Coson, Playa Bonita, were all places I visited and not many videos made from that area since you need a vehicle to get around. A recommendation for you guys. Every time I visit Santo Domingo the capital city. I book an Airbnb in Bella Vistq neighborhood. lots of locals coffe shop and eatery. And also there is a kind of central park called: Mirador sur. Good place if you want te go for a jogging or walking exercise.

Thanks so much... you can basically stay as long as you want here. You just pay an 'Exit Fee' on the way out depending on your length. The government here even has a breakdown of the costs that you can find online 👍 - Trevor

We were looking at visas and trying to figure out how to stay longer than the tourist visa of 30 days for Canadians (we're from Toronto). I assume the 180 day rule applies there for income taxes. I LOVE that area. Las Corales. We stayed in an apartment (not modern like yours) but beach FRONT next door to Soles beach bar. How far is your apartment walking to the beach? We paid ~$200 CDN last January 2024.

About 10 days ago I went from somewhere around Montreal to Jomtien in Thailand, hoping to stay for 6 months and work online. The air pollution is nasty and I'm having a hard time finding a reasonably priced condo that's well maintained that doesn't have a chemical smell, either from air freshener or naphthalene. Maybe I should have gone to the DR, however paying taxis 60CAD to go on a 10 minute ride and come back seems out of my budget. I would have to find something modern with internet that works near the beach. How much do you think that would cost in CAD?
