We have made laws such as the EPA law that seem innocent but create bureaucracies that control our whole lives. That is not what these laws were intended to do. The EPA was created to clean up things like rivers so polluted that they would burn, not to make citizens dig through garbage to get it properly sorted for some bureaucrat. These bureacracies spend trillions virtue signalling rather than doing good. They try to make us not use straws in our drinks to save the oceans, when there are rivers in India you can walk across on packed plastc garbage which is moving to the sea. Our country is run by bureaucracies with citizens having no idea who is in charge. I think the Republicans are trying to pass something to stop this misuse of laws but I haven't heard anything in a while. Does anyone know anything about what is happening with this effort?
