lift does not reduce rubbing, unless you only drive on flat surfaces and the suspension never moves too far up or down

I am going to run 255/85R16 in order to get a 33.1” without lifting my Tacoma TRD OR. The only tires I can find currently (Nov 25,2024) that are Load Range C are Falken Wildpeak AT4W’s with Volk TE37T’s with 0 or -10 offset without lifting.

Go watch tinkerers adventure videos about articulation and its relation to lifting. Lifting to the point of fitting 35s basically get you the same or less off-road capability as 33s because of the articulation trade off with Toyota IFS. Thats after a lot more modding and money. I mean they look cool but they don’t work good.

I got a belstein leveling kit on my stock tacoma and I am currently running 265 tires. I would love to go bigger on my next tires. What is the way I can go about? I need UCA? Or can I fit bigger ones as is? Also how can I get a negative offset?

You can fit 255/85R16 or 255/80R17 (33.1”) tires on 0 or -10 offset and not have rubbing issues with stock height. That is what I’m going to do so I don’t loose too much in the way of MPG.

I used 3" OME lift with 265 70 17's, with TRD pro wheels perfect to me, you take away with anything much bigger. People put to much stuff on them, everything but curb feelers
