This is how I think Billy survived. So when Billy is attacked and is going down rapids, I think that the aviary has an opening underneath it, just like how we saw Grant and the others escape. So Billy is able to make it under that but from a different side of the aviary. He ends up floating down the river until he reaches the coast where the marines find him and rescue him. That’s what I have always thought.

Billy still went the same way under the cage towards the ocean, there were just some rocks sitting between our line of site at that moment, between us and the edge of the cage, which must have been very close, based on grant and Kirby’s quick escape. He must have just floated under a few seconds after we lost sight of him, from the river being more rapid than where the other 2 dove under. The only question is how he made it all the way down river. He could have been well enough to walk, and just collapsed from his wounds at the beach, right before the others arrived.

Billy needed the eggs to fund the dig site because, as he said earlier on, the site was closing up in a few weeks. Since he never gets away with the eggs, their dig site was presumed to be shut down, for good. I have an alternate theory about how Billy escaped the aviary and ended up in the helicopter at the end of the movie, but it will be far-fetched to practically everyone else. My theory is that the Raptors attacked the Pteranodons off-screen while the rest of the cast left...perhaps, only minutes after we last saw Billy before the end scene. Injured, but alive, he may have made his way to the coast with the help of the Raptors while another group of Raptors encountered Grant and the Kirby family. At some point, the Raptors may have seen help coming to rescue Billy and went back to their nest. The rest, we all know.

It does sound far-fetched, especially since we only see one group of raptors for the entire film. I think he floated down river enough to where he could easily make it to the beach without being intercepted by any raptors, the spino, or other carnivores, or he somehow made it to an area where the the rescue ops saw him . I imagine they were actively searching for the group sometime before they escaped the raptors and made it to the coast. I’m assuming Billy gave them some info regarding where the rest of the group was which is why they found them quickly after rescuing Billy.

This is a great video again, Shadow! I never really put any thought into how Billy got rescued so this is a good theory/explanation. Tbh I'm not a major fan of Jurassic Park 3, it's OK but I'm love the original, first, the best, Jurassic Park. I'd love this new one coming out to be like that, Jurassic World was good because we got to see the park up and running but it was more action than horror, unlike the original! ❤

I liked Billy's character. I loved how he risked his life to save Eric and that he survived. I actually got teary eyed when you see him in the helicopter cause i thought he was dead. I think the river must've had two splits in it so while Alan and everyone else escaped one way, Billy flowed down the other way which then led him to the ocean. I had wished he would've appeared again in the other JW but he didn’t.

Personally, when it comes to the canonality of something like this, (as an anime fan) my stance has always been "If it enhances the story, and does not conflict with concrete canon, then what's the harm in saying that it is, until it's debunked?" It's sort of how we approach FNAF isn't it? We run with what makes sense, or makes things better narratively and that becomes the story. So maybe, Billie could still be canon. Perhaps his story could be in between 3 and World so to speak. Perhaps this feeds into the idea that Owen was part of the military group that was there. Hypothetical Story Idea that interweaves both ideas (obviously this could be changed or adapted, or whatever you fancy) : Perhaps the raptors could play a factor in how he escaped? We know the Pteradons are scavangers. Perhaps he manages to get away somehow, he's running and tucks down to the ground to try and use the trees and foliage as cover, but unintentionally finds himself near the nest. Now both he, and the raptor's young are in danger of these flying monsters. Billie in an effort to save himself kicks away the remaining pteradon while the raptor is defending its nest. The raptor puts together that Billie saved its child, and perhaps as an act of mercy allows him to leave, or even protects him from other predators allowing him to reach the beach. The raptors seeing the military and hearing the loud noise avoids the area and returns to its nest. After their ordeal on the island, but after they're taken to a vessel, or base where they can be treated the military plan to exterminate the remaining dinos on the island like the game implies. Billie however pleas with one of the soldiers while he's being given medical attention. Explains how the raptor spared him, and allowed him to escape. Perhaps this doesn't save this particular group of raptors as the actions of one lone soldier would never be enough to save an entire island of beasts that pose a very real threat, but before the extermination can happen, the clean-up happens, and construction of Jurassic World begins. Perhaps they conscript the military men who were present at the rescue to help secure the teams during the clean up, and collection of specimens. And there is there the hatchlings from that raptor's nest could be found . perhaps these raptors that bonded with Billie would be not Blue's pack but their parent of sorts. That helps spark Owen's fascination, and respect for the raptors. Proves to him that they like wolves, or horses could be trained, and made to live alongside humans in a capacity similar to any other zoo animal. Which is what he succeeds in nearly a decade later in 2012. (not perfect but it's an idea of how this idea could work and still retain both stories)

I believe they didn’t have any connection, especially since they were kids and it’s unclear if Hammond made his own kids successors to the company or if they were even interested in what Hammond was doing, and even if Lex and Tim were successors, I think their experiences in the book and movie would have made them want nothing to do with the park anyway.

So for the Avery scene, it is entirely possible (and highly likely based on the visual evidence) that the river splits in the Birdcage, leading to two different exits. The one the main cast goes down; the water being deeper, not having rapids, and a less intense current - versus - The second river Billy was trapped in; the water being far more shallow, and thus it had a far stronger current and far more intense rapids. This secondary river being far faster and more shallow could also help explain why Billy was found first and how didn't drown after his injuries. After getting out of the Avery, the best course of action(really honestly the only one, with his injuries) Billy would have would have been to have done a white-water-rapid-float. (This floating on your back with your feet up and facing down stream). Doing this would have allowed him to just float down the rapids with the least amount of energy spent. In addition, the second river had a faster current than the first, explaining why and how the military was able to find Billy first, he would have been on a literal fast track to the ocean.

I'm not going to lie, I kinda wish we had that trespasser game, even if the game was canceled if it was changed into a film with no changes to the plot, that would have been awesome. Could have called it "Jurassic War". If that story was part of the canon of Jurassic, just imagining the impact that it would have had on the franchise as a whole... I want it so bad. These are some of the effects I can think of: Billy Brennan would have been seen as a figurehead in the world of Ingen's dinosaurs in the same vein as Alan Grant, Ellie Stadler, and Ian Malcolm. Billy's actions, the lies of the military to get him on the island, as well as the actions of the military personnel, including the many times the general attempted to murder Billy, would cause some extreme public backlash on the governments who originally orchestrated the entire operation. Talk about some extreme damage control needed by the governments following that incident. Billy's story could have been the inciting incident two major things. One: The revival of the park, now named; Jurassic World. Billy would have put dinosaurs back into public focus and brought back the want to see the prehistoric animals, thus leading to the rebuilding of Hammond's dream. Two: The Government's want in the use of velociraptors in military operations. Billy had inadvertent proven that raptors could be highly effective weapons against an armed force. But take a second to think about this little effect, Billy's whole thing was about raptor communication. Imagine if you Owen Grady using more advanced knowledge to help with training The Raptor Pack. Owen, instead of a clicker, has a vocal resonance chamber with holes similar to an ocarina giving Owen the ability to better communicate with The Pack, thus making Owens position in The Raptor Pack as the alpha more concrete. Also it gives Owen the ability to simi-understand the Indominous Rex. Seperate thought I wanted to share with you, Shadow: (Imagine if during the events of the 2015 breakout, Owen ended up taking the I-Rex's side so he could protect his girls from Hoskins and the government. Oh, the chaos that would cause.)

I think Trespasser would’ve been an awesome addition to the JP series. We would’ve gotten closure for Billy, an even better intro into the JW universe and a kickass game before Survival. Don’t get me wrong I liked JW1. It was a cool look at what would’ve been John Hammond’s dream had it been successful. The new tech, clean, and organized park with a healthy attendance rate. I just wish we could’ve gotten more out of it, like we did for Camp Cretaceous.

I always assumed Billy made his way through a small river that is too small or very obscure that it was not recorded on maps, or a new river that was made made some time ago and he was found along hte beach or Billy was in a grass field and picked up by a Heli, of course the main crew didnt hear the very distant heli due to being preoccupied with other threats. As for Billy making a return, if Dominion is anything to go by, I think it be great if for Billy, maybe he is at a dig or doing some excavation somewhere only to get into a stare down with a raptor, of course this point we as the audience suppose to think its gonna get worse, but no, false tension, of course Billy accidentally stumble upon some poachers and well, no witnesses and he gets a team up with the raptor that first appeared on screen.

Yeah your logic on this one doesnt work sorry. I know we have to make assumptions but you made way too many. You assume he couldnt walk after leaving the water... why? You have no reason other then his ending state which couldve happened while walking around. You assumed the marines only landed in one spot cause thats all we saw on screen. You assume theres no time delay between them finding billy rescued and them actually showing up on the beach.... way to much this time
