Ben is my favorite his big heart and not afraid to show his feeling. Has a cute personality and such a skilled woodworker genius. Erin has such a fantastic eye for design and love when she uses her painting skills. They are great together!

Erin and Ben are just so relatable and caring of people. I love to watch them reveal the houses to their clients because they look so excited for the homeowners. I hope I can drive through Laurel someday and spot some of the houses they've made over.

I live in California but luckily I was in New Orleans at the end of a Mississippi River cruise November 2022, rented a car and drove to Laurel. It’s a charming town with a historical area where most of the houses Ben and Erin have renovated. I met Mallory and her daughter at one of the stores. There’s still a lot of houses that need some TLC in Laurel but Ben and Erin have done wonders in Laurel.

I actually have thought “ if I ever leave my home I would like to live in Laura. The renovation’s are almost personal… and always a great pleasure for the new owners. I like that they don’t knock down all the walls and they are respectful to the homes history. They listen to the homeowners and design to their homeowners taste. Each home is unique, and each design is unique. It is by far the best design show on television.

Misleading come-on. That said, 'Home Town' is our favourite 'design' show not only because they do good rehabs, but they do work for all classes and colours. You can't fake an open heart; they are warm and inclusive to all. We've also watched Ben's work shop expand - they've put a big investment into super equipment. And he's such a beautiful craftsman. One show featured an expanding circular table that was absolutely gangbusters. Wishing them continuing success - don't change a thing!

My favorite show. Can't think of two people that I would like to work with on finding a home more than Ben and Erin. Notice i said home not house. They find a house but it turns into your home. I live in NJ and retiring and rented all my life. I'm ready to buy but in Jersey my 330k cash isn't finding much. I wonder if I come to Laurel they can help me! I think it would make a good episode!! One thing I don't like that many of these rehab people do is paint perfectly good and beautiful brick houses. Don't they know the value of brick? It's like some of them just can't wait to ruin brick. Someone needs to tell them to stop doing that damage.

I agree. People don’t realize the damage they’re doing. There’s actually a brick “stain” that allows the brick to breathe, as it was designed to, and yet I’ve never seen anyone use it. It’s always paint.

I have a house built in 1927 and they painted it. The damage caused by painting to the brick is costly. Not to mention moisture under the house. Looks nice but…just sayin.

So what really happened to Erin?? I love the Napiers and their show, but I hate these long winded videos that waste your time. I thought something actually happened to her that might have affected their lives, which may have impacted their show, which is one reason why I clicked on this video. However, I would have watched it even if the makers of this video titled it with a more honest sounding, “How Erin Napier Became the Person She is Today”. But because the title really tried to mislead us viewers, I would never subscribe to this.
