What REALLY Happened To Nick's Parents In Zootopia (Hint: One Of Them Dies...)
For being one of the most interesting characters in all of Pixar, Nick from Zootopia sure wasn’t given a lot of background aside from his traumatic childhood experience. But when you rewatch Zootopia and pay attention to how the sly fox acts and a few of the things he says, it’s clear to see that his childhood was anything but simple. A lot of that might have had to do with his parents, and according to one theory, specifically that they themselves faced a traumatic experience. In fact, it seems like there’s a possibility that Nick’s family was killed by predators and he was left as an orphan and forced to fend for himself as he grew up.

I mean, I just figured his dad was a deadbeat. That was the vibe I got. As to siblings I don’t think biology in zootopia works quite the same as real animals. The bunny on the train is traveling with only one child which doesn’t make a lot of sense if you have 5-6 kids from one birth why are you only traveling with one? It kinda feels like Judy having tons of siblings is a tongue in cheek country bumpkin joke as much as a bunny biology joke.

I don't know if it was a joke, but more so the developers were trying to make it look more like the real world but didn't try to make everything correlate with each other. Kids movies do tend to be like that, it might get pretty complicated if they try to make all of that stuff corelate since it is a movie for kids.

Maybe in Zootopia 2 we could explore more of Nick Wilde since he’s my favorite character. i feel so sorry for him and I wonder if we see his parents like Mr. and Mrs. Wilde Make an appearance in the sequel

If you watch the ending, Nick’s mom is still alive as he later returns to her as a cop. Although for his dad, I don’t know.

I think that Nick's Parents was isolated and poor and Nick didn’t mentioned about his brothers and sisters and Nick's did get bullied by his scoots for being A fox and Nick’s family was attacked and killed by A predators as A orphan and being forced to fend growing up that makes A Lot of sense
