@@Logan_93 Do you have survival experience? I don't get how you can look down on the "intelligence" of these people if you could not feed, shelter and clothe yourself if left on an island. The concept of IQ is simplistic and rooted in a bias toward western thinking and assumes the very baseline of wealth being mentioned. So I have to ask, just to be clear, are you saying that they are genetically inferior? Is it your opinion that an average newborn child taken from this island would not be educable to say the high school graduate level if they were raised in a wealthy western household and attended schools there? If that is not your assertion than the only thing lacking is the wealth. It's hard to find time for calculus when your days are spent on subsistence living. It's hard to build beyond subsistence living when you are stuck on an island with very limited resources.

I am from Papua New Guinean my friend, on the 5th day of quarantine on my way to work.. damn Covid. During the last five days I've watched your videos and come to love your absolutely quality presentations. I couldn't be more prouder when you brought out a, however, "not-so-proud-of" history of ours here. But I must say you're a true historian, with possibly imense efforts to studying and background checks for your materials, unlike some I've come across. Fairly accurate in your reference to how "big man" were (or maybe, are) perceived culturally within our societies and how this viewing paved for "cargo cults" to spring up here and there in those years. As it's been decades ago, things have changed a lot. However it saddens me to see some other forms of the similar "cargo cult" putting on a different mask these days and still people keep falling for their get-rich-quick promises (think this is more of a worldwide problem). Long story short, thank you for your sincere and well expressed conclusions in the video regarding community bonding :) keep them videos coming. For this video, I subscribe to your channel 👍

Going there with a bunch of cargo and getting worshipped is an interesting idea. You could basically live the rest of your life as a god. From there, you could work remotely, e.g. as a software developer, by using a satellite connection like Starlink and ordering gasoline periodically for your power generator, so you'd have money for more "cargo" and thus cement your position as a local cargo deity.

You're walking along the beaches of Rustafield when you hear an ear-piecing screech, you jerk your to the head side. You're met meet eye to eye with a bald naked man squatting on a nearby boulder. You're petrified in the uncomfortable silence when suddenly in a 9 year old's voice "WHERE IS LOOOOOOT, WHERE IS CRAAAAAATE, YOU HAVE CRAAAATE!!!!!". Terrified you turn a 360 and make a b line into the forest. "WHY RUNNING, YOU HAVE AK!!!! GIVE ME AK!!! GIVE ME LOOOT BL- A gunshot cuts the screeching off as you hear various older British voices in the distance "FOOOOOK!!! BLOODY BASTID HE DONT GOT THE LOOOOOT!!! OI YOU RUNNING AFTER ME AIRDROP YOU YANKEE FOOKIN CUNT EH!!! ME FOOKIN CROIT!!". Bullets fly past you as nearby buildings begin exploding, exchanging rocket fire on the crowd of bald females gathered near the side of a mountain. You hear one final "GET THE FOOK AWAY FROM ME CROIIIIIT!!!" before a final explosion turns everything black.

I know this video is three years old, but I have a question If they’ve been so isolated from the modern world, that means there immune system isn’t as strong as ours And if we do visit them, we might bring back bacteria and diseases which they can’t defend themselves against, but we can. That would seem like a sad end, wouldn’t it? These isolated tribes, I’m more fascinating than any type of museum. It would be diabolical to destroy such a peaceful and remote tribe. Leaving them to continue living as they do would probably be the better option But if we disinfected a bunch of boxes of cargo and dropped them on the island, it would probably make them happy and give them hope. We could even put a love heart on the boxes This could teach them that the love heart symbol means good and gifts. ❤❤❤ I’m just saying, it doesn’t seem like such a bad idea. But the reason why big companies and governments don’t try and do this stuff is because they don’t really care but the same time they do care, they don’t want to end up making them sick or making them go crazy with all our advanced stuff. I do hope someone reads this because it’s quite an interesting idea, and it also teaches people to be careful when we come across tribes like this and understand the risks. And also there’s a language barrier and there is probably no connections to any other language in the world which could help us speak the same way they do.
