The owning any IP you create one is frequently thrown in and sometimes abused. My father was telling me once about a YT Channel he used to watch where the person got copy striked for singing their own songs which they wrote because a former employer was claiming them under a provision that gave them rights to any IP they ever created. Never assume they won't try to enforce the provision. The craziest though as the ones claiming they'll "fix" a "typo" that clearly benefits them (5 years at 30% APR for example). They will NOT fix it and I guarantee they will use it against you.

Blanket statements are really easy to use against a consumer as the entity setting the contract can use it to do pretty much anything.
