all of their deaths were super depressing. the most I’m caught on about is walters. bro spent 30 years underground alone and in fear and the moment he had the courage to step out and feel freedom for the first time, he gets hit by a train 😪

Here’s a not so fun fact: when molly turns into a giant squid at the end and enters her room. (hallucination) molly writes “and i know i will be delicious.” pretty much meaning she metaphorically and literally ate herself to death.

People say she died of starvation or jumped out the window. I think she eats herself at the end. I dunno why people think otherwise since she clearly says “i will be delicious” at the end.

I think you got them all. Was it the house that killed some of them? Or was it superstition? Three was talk about a monster in the house. Maybe their imagination; like Lewis?

@@SmolTeacher69 well I’m guessing the waves were very bad in Odin’s death,like they maybe reached the house and swept it away and he was maybe inside. Molly imagined herself as a bloodthirsty monster that was eating people because she was starving,possibly hinting that she died of starvation. It was said that Calvin always wanted to fly and the fact he fell off his swing to his death he flew but it came with a consequence. The monsters attacking Barbara in the comic represents her being murdered by someone who most people think was the boyfriend,she basically died wanting to be a star. Unsure about Walter’s death,all I saw was him getting ran over by a train which is a gruesome way to die. If Gus had went for shelter he would’ve never died,the storm was picking up its pace,I blame the parents for this because it said that the dad wanted the music turned up louder IN THE MIST OF A STORM! the sad thing about Gregory’s death is that he was only a baby,I blame the mother Because she turned the taps on then left without even pulling the plug,oh she actually did but she left him by himself,he probably did die happy since he imagined he was swimming. Sam’s death was clearly an accident,I feel sorry for Dawn since she caught a picture of it.. We never find out if Milton died or not All we know is he Disappeared but the book kind of hints that he ran away,some people said that starved to death. In the letter to Dawn from Lewis’ therapist I think it was,it says something about him trying to be sober or something like that,but the line “all he had to do was bend down his head” Hints that he maybe took his own life. We never see Edie’s death,we only hear that she disappeared,in the book she gave to Edith talks about how Edie went to some place and had memories,I’m guessing she tried to go back there again. Dawn,she lasted a long time I must say,only to die from an illness. Finally Edith,the last finch until she found out she was expecting a baby,the journal was supposed to be for him,but she said that she wished she could be there to tell him everything,clearly hinting that she Died after giving birth to her son,I’m guessing cause of complications. Why do I want this game to have a sequel,I kinda wanna see the story continue from Edith’s son Sorry,this is very long comment,I’m just saying my thoughts and opinions on this game,I think it’s game!😅 Edit: Theres a game called The Unfinished Swan,some people say it has something to do with Milton

@@Mia_AKA_Mimi14 You really did your research on this lol. I had fun reading your thoughts. It shows you really like this game. Maybe its best it doesn't have a sequel - for the viewer to imagine the story from where it ended. I really liked exploring the house it gave Wes Anderson vibes. You might like his movies. Especially Isle of Dogs. I have seen gameplay of unfinished swan, it's like a canvas where the player paints the game or something, like chicory a colorful tale but more morbid, I think. Sorry for bad English and I don't mind long comments. I admire people who can articulate their thoughts properly. 😁

@@Mia_AKA_Mimi14 I can add to these in a bit more detail. Lewis blamed himself for Milton's disappearence. This was when he startes to abuse alcohol and drugs to try and deal with his depression. He was also having issues with his sexuality (ie the prince/princess choice) and his work was monotonous which made him think more about Milton and his life spiralling down. In his real life he was bored, lonely and depressed but in his made up world he was someone worthy. He 100% commit suicide. Gus was crushed by the totem poll on the beach during the storm. Molly was sick due to the holly berries and toothpaste, which are poisonous (the latter only in huge doses) which made her have hallucinations and eventually died. Another theory is that she was eaten by the snake Edie kept as a pet (Bob). I prefer the first theory Calvin I do not think went over the cliff. He was trying to swing the whole way around (impossible with a swing unless the bars are stiff, not ropes) and fell, killing himself. Dawn died after a long battle with cancer. It is a common occurance that patients "get better for a while" then just die all of a sudden. This happened to a close family member of mine Sanjay was killed by an aftershock when helping earthquake victims in India. Edith died due to complications in childbirth. I guess she wanted to have a child early because she wanted at least 1 Finch to keep the family lineage going. Barbara is a difficult one. Was it the boyfriend? Was it some over zealous stalker fans? Walter being hit by a train seems too "easy" to me for this game. Not sure what it actually was, but the saying "feel like I was hit by a train" when talking about some huge thing happening makes me think something is up. He was obviously traumatized by what he saw. Milton is connected to the developers other game "The Unfinished Swan"... Don't want to spoil it Sam was killed in a hunting accident. Whether it was as the story said, or something hidden under the veil is hard to tell. Gregory drowned in the bath or by eating the bubble bath that fell in the bath. Edie died by mixing alcohol and medication (suicide)

The most disturbing death's to me, are: Walter's cuz if it was not heart attack. Then the train theory doeant make sense. The island this story take's place has no train. Just a tourist ride. How could noone seen a man standing to the tracks for a slow tourist ride? I think the man got killed. Cuz the fact that Eddie was cheacking out for him all this years, and she mocked him by selling the story about a Moleman. Cuz her son had severe ptsd after the death of his sister. So not cool. Maybe he was afraid of Eddie? Milton's. Ok maybe he survived and run away. But it's still odd that all he left was that flipbook Barbara'a Cuz if that was not an accident, then it was murder for sure. Molly: Cuz that diary was fake for sure. Edith probably just tried to cope with her death, because of her neglectfulness. And Edith, cuz she was 17 years old, pregnant, alone her family died. And she died after birth. And we never find out who was the father, or if she was assulted. She seemd to want to keep the baby to have some family left with her in this world. And then she died.

I think edie pushes all this. She ends up being the oldest Finch and why would there be a tire swing right there? Why would she keep the comic? Even though it seems like a happier ending in the conic, why display it like that? Plus no one at all knew about the music box, at all. Only soneone inside the house could disclose that type of information. I think when she thought the curse was real, she made it her whole life basically and ironically. But the rest of the family other then dawn, took this and ran.

Molly was locked in her room without dinner, so she started eating stuff. She ingested toothpaste, and for a young child, too much fluoride can lead to stomach problems, blockages, and death. Molly also consumed holly berries, which are poisonous. Molly started hallucinating being different animals, and soon a monster. In the end, she died from either starvation or poison.

@@Cosmo_Mochathe idea of a child physically “eating themselves” is far more unlikely and far fetched than poisonous berries or starvation. I get she says she will be delicious but I’d assume that’s because she’s viewing herself as animals people eat, not eating herself.
