What's Behind You? Towing Mirror Extensions Review & Installation: Dometic Milenco Grand Aero3

Don't drive blind. Extension mirrors can save your life, and they make towing a trailer a much more enjoyable experience. In this video, we're pulling an 8-foot wide Airstream behind our 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. With the Jeep's stock mirrors, I can only see the front corners of the trailer. But these clip-on towing mirrors widen the view so that I can see down both sides of the Airstream. There are two main benefits: 1) I can see vehicles behind and alongside of the trailer much more easily; 2) I can see the wheels of the trailer, which makes it easier to back up into a campsite or simply turn a corner.

Some of the magic juice was exposed there because of all of those reflective surfaces. Saw your tripod mount, GoPro on the window, etc. Not a complaint, I just want somebody to notice that I noticed. Cheers!

Meant to also ask whether you've had these loosen up on you? Do you check every few hundred miles? Thanks again helped me much with installation.

I haven't had issues with them loosening, but I also remove them when we arrive at a campsite, and then re-install before we set out again. So they're probably not on the mirrors long enough to loosen noticeably. They perform much better than I expected them to! - Dave
