Got the mirrors and the adapters 1 year ago. Finally put them on the Jeep. Fit like a glove. Now its finally time to pick up our Trailer.

Thanks for the video. I bought the mirrors and adapters. I noticed two are thicker. I first assumed each side would take a thicker and thinner adapter but they don’t seem to fit that way. Put both thick on one and both thin on the other

I could have sworn the current units are marked right or left or driver passenger. I'll have to look at them tomorrow. It's pretty easy to figure it out.

I have the same mirrors and same adapters for my gladiator, and they look and fit Awesome! That being said having four rearview mirrors is really weird.

Yeah I hear ya. I'm used to it for the most part. We've owned a lot of Superduty Fords with factory Tow mirros so you get used to having extra mirrors in the mirrors lol. I sometimes forget to put these mirros on the jeep and you don't really realize how much they help until you get out on the freeway and need to make lane changes. You realize real quick how much they help!

I really think you will like them. We took off on a trip a few weeks ago and I had totally forgot to put them on. We didn't realize it until I went to make a lane change and then all the sudden I realized how well they really do help.

Just got my Rampage mirrors and waiting for the adapters. I was looking for an install video. I had to do allot of reading to figure out tow mirrors. Wish I seen this first. Would of saved some time. Great video, thanks....

@@chodson65 I do. My original left side adapter cracked so he gladly shipped me out the second generation adapters free of charge. IIRC the passenger side is the same but the drivers side has improved angles which do help a lot.

Just got the adapters. To be sure the mirrors are the same and are not left or right side specific. I cannot see any identifying Mark's on the mirror. So rather than have an oh sxit momement. Am I correct or missing markings on the mirror. Thanks

the add on mirrors themselves don't have a side until you screw the brackets to them if that makes sense.

Looking at these 4 my jk for extra vision for when I'm wheeling in the rocks in the part of Australia tend to be sharp particularly the passenger side. Do u think they may move around too much ? Any one had experience with this ? Jesus bless ya from a brother from downunder 🤠🇳🇿💒

I think they'd be alright for that mate! Just have to be careful with them as if you do hit them on something they would probably smash right off the main mirror.

2:06 That was awesome! Yo Mr. Black, If you love your neighborhood, you might like mine. I'm less than 10 miles "as the crow flies" from Travis AFB. I'm directly under the flight path for all their maneuvers. During the day, almost every cargo, and personnel carrier aircraft from the army, air force, marines, navy, coast guard, etc is flying in, out, or just making a big oval around my house. At night is when the real fun starts. The fighter jets, and stealth bombers come out and do loops, and sh*t. Last summer for a few weeks they kept making sonic booms. I swear they were testing experimental stuff, because I've lived in this area for over 40 years, and I've never heard sonic booms like that except at the annual air shows. If new you were into this, I would have been filming it. -Chuck

I've flown by Travis and Beale before. My old man and I have flown over the area a dozen times. We had a lot of family in the east bay area. Oakley Antioch and Brentwood and even that weird waterworld place whatever it was called.

I hear you Andrew. I get why they make them so small and tucked in if you are a true off roader but in general I think they would be better served to come up with an adjustable mirror that can extend in and out and maybe have the best of both worlds.

Need to get these...got a 21 Max Tow to pull my 15' Flagstaff E-Pro. New to RV'ing, first Jeep. Had a Nissan X-Terra prior. Using same mirror extender, elastic straps (lost clip to one) too much vibration. Cheers.

I towed a 20 foot Keystone. Just make sure you get a weight distribution hitch.

I don't know what to tell you Dylan. They absolutely do help. Will they give you maximum unlimited sight distance behind a full size RV? No they will not. Will they at least extend what you can se by 75 feet or so when trying to make a lane change. Absolutely.
