Hard to grasp it before you become a victim of it yourself. I became one because I'm outraged at what's happening in my country, Russia, and because Ukraine means a lot to me and my country's government has started the war against it. They don't want people like me to exist and make any impact at all. They want to influence ppl negatively because highly privelleged people are afraid of losing their power and not being relevant anymore. They could have become humans instead and start a human life journey, but why bother if you have a bunch of toys like that and if you can buy anything? They want everyone to be at their level, to control them to lower them down. play youtube video at 2x speed at you gets about 6-10 words per-second, still slow but faster than 3-5 words/sec. You'd need to highly concentrate your mind though to grasp and process all those audio-visual information being fed through your eyes and ears; the moment your mind let go or slowed down a bit then you left quite some trails of information un-captured, granted we could selectively sort which information to process and store, but that'd still needs some brainpower and when you increase the speed you'd overworked your brain in no time and gets tired. Hopefully such technology like neuralink will be able to solve this in the future, ie. girls could watch all those 200 episodes (or maybe more) of those korean drama stories in 200 seconds, she could broke into tears later when all the dramas are inside her head, freeing all the valuable computer resources for other more productive and useful functions. The possibilities are endless.

I can see and hear a lot more than only 5 words per second. But my brain cannot process them fast enough. What use would a device have that feeds my brain with enormous amounts of information it cannot possibly process? Its great for creating new senses or replace damged biological interfaces, but thats about it in my opinion.

The human brain is immensely adaptable and all that, but I don't want a literal computer plug in my head. I like howmwemcan disconnect from the internet now and then. Something like an advanced headset that you can wear that connects more directly to the internet would be better

I'll sign the waver. You could go into your digital consciousness and digitally fight off digital viruses. Like the somewhat older cartoon reboot.🙂
