UPDATE: Cogs nerfed! Some bodyguards nerfed, depending on specific language of the rule, arbitrarily. UPDATE 2: Amulet of Destiny nerfed! Now it's a 6+ which is, imo, weak enough to just take Arcane Tome or whatever. Unless you can not stop rolling 6s, which is a gamer move.

Listening to this, sitting on two horde-ish 40k armies...it's actually really helpful. Thinking like this about my ork army and separating battlefield roles helped me win some pretty bad matchups. Love your channel, makes me consider getting into Sigmar. AoS seems pretty chill and the models are great
@gunnarsoderhielm34252 жыл бұрын
I feel that I just have to give props for the fact that you not only script these videos but also script them good. So many other rule discussion videos (in general, not just warhammer) aren't bad and can make good points, but they tend to be long and rambly and feels like the person talking is saying whatever they happen to think of. Often I just can't really get into them and I get to bored to pay attention after 10 minutes. But your videos stand out just because of how good you are at getting to the point, giving clear and concise arguments and just staying on topic. They're the only AoS rule videos that I keep consistently coming back to when you upload, or even just watch again because I enjoy how you talk about the rules. So please do keep up the great work my guy.

@@HeyWoah For sure. I designed some movement trays to maximize attacks in coherency, and the tolerance for 40mm was super tight and probably not practical. 32mm is a lot more forgiving and still pretty easy to set up by hand.

PERFECT TIMING, loved the video, and this kinda relates but I just wanted to drop in the comments that your videos helped me get my lifelong friend into AoS! For a long time he would watch 40k lore videos and we'd talk about it, but if I brought up AoS lore at all he kinda just shrugged it off as a whole lot of nothing. If I brought up minis (God forbid) he'd ask how he'd get laid with WiP minis in his apt. Then one time we were watching some 40k lore and for some reason your Gloomspite Gitz video (which is what got ME playing AoS again [with Gloomspite Gitz!]) autoplayed, and I convinced him to watch it through. He loved it, but ended up playing skaven. So yeah, thanks man, love the content!

Great video! I will probably listen to this at least a couple more times as it explains a lot terms I was not familiar with and some others that I never fully understood. The fact that you give some specific numbers on saves and such is a huge help too. I have struggled in understanding what to pick as an Anvil or Hammer for the fact that I hadn't played enough games to understand what was "good" the descriptions you have given are going to help me build something not only I find cool to paint and look at but maybe something I can win a game or two with as well.

Kinda sick how core rules are free in aos while at the same time they realsed 2 books in The row with 3 rules for all armies in without The option for free online version for 40k. It's not only that but in general Aos feels like it's handled better and more customer friendly than 40k. Idk if it's becuse of diffrent management in teams or what, but that is main reason why I prefer to collect and Play aos over 40k.
