Fly fishing on this tail water is the most productive way I have found to catch more fish nice work out there

Used to live in Penrose. I innertubed from Canon City to Pueblo Reservoir with my friends in middle school. Was a great trip. Saw beaver, bass, coyotes...you name it.

Nice, I live in Denver. I need to go down to Pueblo and do some fishing. I was thinking about buying a 14 v bottom aluminum boat. Those seem to be very popular here.

I’ve always wondered what the spillway was like at Pueblo…good to know that it is possible to fish that close to the outlet. I was also hoping you would be able to catch a warm water something…I bet they have to be in there. Thanks for sharing!
