As for changing to the Christmas routine, maybe the TA could start telling him a week or two before what date the decor is going up and other planned activities? Hopefully if he is forced to have a new TA, the new one will be as great as his current. She has certainly helped Andy a lot this year.

For an adult who's in andys situation he can claim Pip(Personal independent payment) which at the moment is £200 a month and is payed monthly. That'll most likely change by the time he's an adult but just sharing some info ☺
@duckscanfly29706 жыл бұрын
PIP is up to £581.40 monthly so he could actually get almost £600 a month depending in what his needs are when he turns 16. :)

Hi guys! I’ve been watching your videos for about a year now and I’ve been enjoying them a lot. Just wanted to let you know that Norwich in Norfolk would be a great place for you to visit as it has an enormous cathedral and many churches. Andy would also really enjoy it for the train station there. Keep up the vlogs and I hope Andy has a great time back at school!

My son goes to a main stream school he is 8yrs old in new Zealand and they are just starting to get him used to modern learning environment and they have just started to put together a sensory room for them to chill out in. His teacher has told us that she has been making him do writing at school which he does not like he uses his device for it. Does his school make him do subjects that he is not keen on at all?

New to the channel, so I apologize if this has been covered before, but does Andy do ABA therapy?
@duckscanfly29706 жыл бұрын
I think ABA therapy is more commonly practised in America. As far as I know there are some places in the UK that provide AHA but I don't think it's as widely used here!

With rest brakes in an exam would Andy be able to get through a paper is it worth asking the school to try it out because with the right things in place a reader a scribe your able to use spare paper in exams for maths with rest brakes I don't know but he might just cope

With my daughter she love the Decs and light and she cope with the class room changes .it more the children in there she find hard and the lessons hard and friendships as she very blunt no filter. .she only play with one friend .they very close .If he not in then she play by herself. but the school want her to have a change in mainstream .even though she been there since 3 nearly 4 she nearly 8 now .I'm sure that enough chance .even the head of my son school as said my daughter should be in a special school .every year she since start at her school she been below national standard in all subjects part from art .she fail her year 2sat .even though I was told she wouldn't do them. And i was told a year ago they put her in for ehcp .still haven't. .bet then she back Sept. They haven't still .in her educational pys meeting they lied .because she got selected mutism .that before she got a autism diagnostic. They where getting some one out to work with her .and that i have to work with her to so I had to come in a hour a week .the senco said they did that they didn't not once did I come up I ask and ask i just fobed of .

Has Andy been on holiday abroad? If so, does he like it or despise it?
@shem72396 жыл бұрын
If the school chance like the tree up or new board .they email me picture to show Lewis. So aware that there going to be a chance the next day or if happen around when they still there sent picture .just get him used to the changes .he hate to much detail .usallay his class is very bare all year around .in his primary school which was a special school to .he all ripping the other children work down because he couldnt cope with business of the class room .If there was 3 tables and 2 chair to each table that was fine .but if u went and put another table and 2 chair in .no he likely have a melt down the chair and tablet probably gone flying .his primary school used to ring me daily for the first few years .in till he was just with a one to one the time .and not with his peers .he did much better not so much learning .but he was a lot carmer did help that he got on so well with his ta and she cry the last day .and she got him some gifts .now he has his own place in the class room .but he got to every hour .for 5 mins be with peers .he can do that now some time up to 20 mins that not offeren just on a really good day .

Sorry but you haven't made up a word :( In a sociological context, 'socialisation' means the development of an individual into becoming a functioning adult in a society. In an economic context, it's another word for nationalising a service or industry. Almost, though.
