Congrats on the baby, Kayla! I just did a hospital tour yesterday. I am a second time Mama but I have a huge age gap in my kids, also I used to be a CNA (aide) on postpartum but that was 10 years ago! I didn't learn a lot from my hospital tour but apparently my hospital now has a "postpartum planner" or something like that we can now call and talk to so anyone else may want to call and ask their hospitals if there's a postpartum planner, I think that's a newer thing at my hospital! I'm going to call mine and see if she can help me better assess what I need to bring since all hospitals vary a little in what's provided. My hospital used to provide vaseline brand chapstick so I asked yesterday if they still have that and she said they recently changed to a crappier chapstick so I may want to bring my own lol.

April Campbell I got so many clothes at my baby shower. I didn’t get any gowns. With this being my second baby, I went to kid to kid and got all of their gowns! I know I need gowns more than anything else clothes wise!

Wow this is crazy. I don't know about all of Canada but my hospital, I need to bring everything.. They dont provide clothes and diapers and wipes.. Just receiving blankets. I think they might provide more if its an emergency birth but other than that you gotta bring everything yourself.
