You are really brave to want to wear a white shirt right after giving birth 😅 my baby was still covered in all kinds of stuff and would have left stains all over the thing. Also the white sweatsuit... remember you will be bleeding a lot... One thing I loved during labor was some massage oil for my partner to rub my lower back with during contractions. It was very helpful for me and he felt useful 😊 also some chapstick because my lips were very dry from all the heavy breathing. And I wish I'd brought a second birthing gown because my water broke all over the first one and then I had to wear a hospital gown (these are the worst). I think you're well prepared, things never go as planned anyway. Have a lovely birth experience!

The amount of blood, after birth, and yuck that women deal with after birth is the things nightmares are made from. I grossly underestimated it as well!!!

I recommend getting a cheap regular toothbrush for your bags. Target has a two pack for $1. Last thing u want is to worry about toothbrushes in labor lol and at most you’ll only use once anyways so I’m sure ur teeth will be fine without the fancy brush 😅

If I were you, I would take a loose dress or gown, as you may find it may comfortable after giving birth. I never ever wear gowns but after birth, I needed the gown and robe. All the way YES on the portable fan! Birth is hard work and you'll get HOT!

Absolutely. After birth I underestimated the blood loss and my sweatpants got stained immediately 😅 a dress or night gown is more practical in my opinion.

@B. Also, after all the massaging of the stomach after birth, I can't remember the technical term to save me, my stomach was extremely sore! I wore a gown the entire time I was in the hospital which was a hot minute bc my 2 boys were very premature. Also, if the worst were to happen a CSection be required, sweats would likely be miserable on the waist, I would imagine. I was blessed with a vaginal birth so that's a total guess.

@@amyshull8263 I had a c-section with my second and actually the scar is pretty low so high-waisted sweatpants, leggings or tights are ok. But at the hospital I just wore a night gown because it's more convenient post-surgery.
